A word from Lido
Lido’s menu is Northern Italian. The menu can be described as fresh, simple, and delicious. Flavors are layered so that each one stands out but does not compete with others in the dish.

The food is organic and local whenever possible and all poultry and meats are from farms that treat animals humanely.

The ambiance is modish but relaxed. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Diner Reviews
  • "The food at Lido was wonderful and I will absolutely return again. The one complaint I have is the service was almost too attentive. Plates were picked up before the entire table was finished eating and there was not a moment to breathe between courses. It made the dining experience faster than I wanted it to be and left me feeling like I was rushing to finish my meal when I wanted it to be leisurely."

  • "The food was good, the service was , Meh. We had several people waiting on us yet not one was anywhere to be found when we needed something."

  • "We had brunch there to celebrate Fathers'Day. We enjoyed our food and the setting is very nice and cozy. Really good and crispy bacon too. But the cold attitude from the waitress really ruined the experience. She was overall unfriendly and cold, didn't respond to any of our smiles or attempts to warm her a bit to us. She rolled her eyes when we asked for ice for our iced coffee( she hadn't brought any). At first I just thought she didn't like us but then I noticed she was acting the same with other patrons. Too bad, we don't really want to come back after this."

  • "I took my dad there for Fathers Day and he loved it. The atmosphere is lively and the food is great. It's also vegetarian friendly."

  • "This is not for gourmets but with the exception of fancy restaurants in Manhattan, the Lido compares very well. The food is non-experimental but solid and good. The service is definitely better than what you could expect in Manhattan. The ambience is nothing special but has a certain style. What I liked best was the mix of guests and the ginger cocktail. This was my second visit; the first time was for lunch on a warm day and that was exceptional. The combination of outdoor seating without crowdedness gave this Harlem restaurant the flair of a European street cafe."

  • "I was pleasantly surprised that the front window opens to allow patio-style dining."

  • "We were delightfully surprised! This is a great place with a creative menu. There's something here for everyone. The staff is friendly and I'm up for a return visit. There's also outside tables - most of which were taken by 7:30. Go Lido!"

  • "This is my favorite local spot without exception. Good food. Great crowd. Comfortable and attentive service. The best red wine sangria. Delicious salads, polenta, risotto, pasta, fish or whatever else you order. Always glad to be there."

  • "Bottomless mimosa on a Saturday afternoon? What a wonderful way to brunch it! The menu choices were great, some worth the price (the sides are over priced), the food was good. The ambience is worth the early trip to Harlem. Book a reservation just in case for 4 or more!"

  • "Lido's a good neighborhood spot for happy hour. Our dinner last night was only okay. The garganelli with lobster was mediocre. The pieces of lobster were dry, not fresh, and the saffron sauce not tasty. The dish lacked seasoning, brightness, and depth. My hubby's short rib was also just okay, not savory or rich. Less meat, better prepared was what he craved. We won't be back soon."

  • "My family celebrated my son's graduation from college with a delicious dinner at Lido. There was a special dish for each one of our particular eating habits - one vegan, one vegetarian, one pescatarian and one carnivore!"

  • "Nothing special. Food was good but service seemed like they were trying really hard not to be annoyed with us just for being there. I arrived a little early for my reservation (10 min. before opening) but doors were open so I thought I'd go in. But oh I was told quite brusquely that they weren't open yet. I realize they're busy getting ready but I didn't think 10 minutes early deserved that kind of treatment. Really started me off on the wrong foot. Then we were told later that they needed the table for another reservation, though many tables were empty. Since the mimosas were basically orange juice and it's overpriced in general, I wouldn't recommend it. "

  • "My food was delicious! The smells of the food surrounding my table were also inviting. Be sure to have the lemon tart for dessert. Just a perfect tast of sweet with tart. Our server was generous w/ the unlimited mimosa... Filling the glasses before we could ask! If you're going for brunch 1pm reservation time is perfect because it got quiet packed shortly thereafter. • "I had gone to Lido before and enjoyed that visit...unfortunately, this time was not the same! We went there for mother's day with a group of 6. The food was still very good but the service was lacking. Our waitress was nice but was not consistently around, our endless mimosas, which are 14 dollars each were not re-filled as often as we expected. Another waitress from another table had a mimosa canter and I asked her kindly if she could re-fill ours, she looked at me, ignored me and kept her attention on her table. I understand that she must cater to her table but to not even acknowledge us and at least re-fill our glasses once she was finished with her table was very rude and lacked customer service. Very disappointing outing to Lido."

  • "Love Lido! Have never had a bad meal here, was very happy to celebrate Mother's Day with a delicious meal. Kale salad, crispy short ribs, dark chocolate pudding... what could be bad?"

  • "The reason I booked this reservation was because I had attended a birthday dinner the prior week and had a great experience. I was disappointed on 5/11/14 because my table was not available when I arrived. They have two window seats that you have to reserve, which I did. I was also not aware that it was a brunch menu and was not interested in eating eggs at 3 in the afternoon. I had my heart set on chicken malinese. But had to eat spaghetti with veal meatballs. My daughter treated me for Mother's Day and the only reason we stayed was because the restaurant across the street had a long line of people waiting. Next tine I will listen to my daughter and take the cruise around manhattan. Btw the woman working the front, her dress was to short. "

  • "It's always a pleasure when I dine here. The service is fast, and always friendly, and the food is excellent. The biggest recommendation I can give to someone going to Lido is to make a reservation, especially for weekend brunch/lunch. It can get very crowded very quickly, and a long wait shouldn't spoil the great time and food you will enjoy here. "

  • "An 'heirloom' tomato salad with burrata was a mess...floating in a pesto? dressing with irregular slices of tasteless tomatoes and a one inch piece of burrata . The tomato sauce is nothing more than 'fake' Marzano and so over spiced it was inedible ! The veal meatballs, as all food listed, were so over salted I feared my blood pressure would send me to St. Luke's. Almost forgot to mention the group of screamers at the bar who behaved abominably; unfortunately becoming more prevalent in our society. Our waiter was a gem...he tried valiantly to make up for the in edible pasta sauce by offering me another dish. I choose the Lump Crab Cake...misleading advertising; it's all bread crumb filling with a 'bit' of crab. NO RETURN VISIT !!!"

  • "Had not been to Lido in a while, and happy to report just as delicious as before. I will say a pinch of salt would help a few of the entres, and the crostinin with barrata, peppers and tomotoes, in particular. BUT OVERALL a great place in the neighborhood with great staff, and ownership. They really make you feel welcome!"

  • "We like Lido for early Sunday brunch at 10:30. Wonderful food. Friendly efficient staff who know what they are doing. The large attractive room has a happy vibe as friends of all ages get together. We like the Arnold Palmer, wine list, gnocchi, egg dishes with Italian bacon. We are used to the $4 charge for toasted bread. $8 for toasted bread with cheese topping feels extreme as does $5 for a single small scoop of gelato. We plan to try the weekday $10 lunch special. "

  • "Took my sister from charlotte NC with her husband and two young boys (8 &10). They and I were thoroughly entertained; the food was great, the space was big enough for the boys and we never felt rushed. All of the the staff were consummate professionals, well done. I am back in two weeks for a friends birthday party. no kids this time.."

  • "We read an article in the Toronto Star about the Lido and decided to book it online immediately. It was everything they said, and more!! Not only was the food absolutely wonderful, tasty and well priced, the people were friendly and welcoming also. We all have nothing but high praise for this lovely and fun establishment!!"

  • "Went here for a brunch reservation and I'm so happy we picked Lido. The food was amazing, the service was top notch, and the mimosas were so yum, we went for the bottomless option and they def. do not skimp on the champagne. The day was beautiful so we sat outside and people watched. Our orders were taken right away and the food did not take long to arrive. Our waiter was really nice and our glasses were filled most of the time. You know those places that end your "bottomless" brunch as soon as you take the last bite? Nope, not here. When we were done eating we did not feel rushed and the waiters still kept filling up our glasses with mimosas. We left full, with a buzz, and with big smiles in our faces. Can't wait to go again!"

  • "Food was amazing! Definitely try that creamy garlic parmesan bread...it's a bit heavy but perfect to share. The option for bottomless mimosas is definitely worth it! Perfect spot for a nice brunch in Harlem."

  • "I was there for lunch,so I cannot comment on the bar scene, but the bar looked very attractive and I would return to check out the Bar . The lunch food and service were excellent and very reasonably priced. I met up with a past high school friend and even though there were several people eating at Lido, my friend and I could hear each other without any trouble at all. I definitely recommend Lido for a casual, tasty lunch."

  • "Unfortunately, the waitress snapped at my friend once he asked her for a refill of the bottomless mimosa for me. We were waiting a while for his drink and the hostess had to help out and the waitress was not in sight to refill my glass. We understand it was around 3pm and the brunch crowd was thick, so she must have felt stress. It would have been nice to not have to remember that as part of the experience as we were very pleasant with the staff. The host staff did help her out and were warm towards us. We will give them another shot and hope for a more pleasant experience. The food was delicious."

  • "1st time in this local restaurant - having recently moved in to the neighbourhood. Overall, very impressed. Friendly greeting, promptly sat, and very good service through-out. We both had pasta which was excellent. The wine list was also very good. The menu was reasonably priced and the atmosphere was happy and lively. We will definitely come back. Renoir"

  • "While we weren't overwhelmed by Lido it can be a solid go to place for locals. The Burrata crostini and garlic bread were excellent. The special pasta, Linguini with clam sauce had a total of 5 whole little necks for $22. Bad deal. The Lasagna Bolognese was very good. I keep this place on my list mostly for sitting at the bar and grabbing a bite."

  • "Hello, this was my second time I was there with some friends to celebrate that one of them Ran the the NY Half Marathon, but the service it was no good like the first time, the waitress who take care of our table was paying attention to serve the mimosas, Even he saw our glasses were empty, he preferred to fill up other tables but no ours, I had to request for it, the first time we never asked to refill . We were so disappointed because for Us it was a special day to celebrate our friend in a nice place."
