The service is high - class and the food is the best I've ever had. We traveled 6 hours to dine at Lidia ' s Pittsburgh and are already anticipating our next trip there."

  • "The Caesar salad was average but my gnocci with duck ragu was simply stellar. I don' typically care for duck but took a chance at the recommendation of our waitress and wasnt't xisappointed. My husband had the rabbit which he was extremely happy with as well. My dessert of the house made ice creams with cookies was the perfect way to end the meal. My husband had the olice oil cake with lemon curd which he thoroughly enjoyed. A wonderful meal!"

The noise level was very distracting. Also, OpenTable messed up the reservation. (They indicated this is a problem with OT) Fortunately the staff was nice and they were able to seat us."

I usually have the 3 pasta's but this time I had the raviolli wild boar and it was delicious. I am sure every time they come to Pittsburgh we will be stopping by at least once."

  • "The Zuppa Di Pesce had 2 small shrimp, 1 scallop, 2 small clams, 5 small muscles, 1 very small piece of calimari. 3 small fish fillets, 3 pieces of overcooked octopus, a tablespoon of cous cous and just enough broth to barely cover the cous cous. Everything except the octopus was prepared properly and the broth had a very good taste, but a little less safron would have been better. I have loved seaford and Italian fare all my life and had heard good things about Lidia's; I was terribly disappointed, especially since I did tell the server about the chewy octopus. She said she would tell the kitchen. My wife's Pasta Trio was three serving spoons of pasta. When she selected one to continue, she received another serving spoon only."

  • "I took a friend to Lidia's to celebrate her birthday. We started with 3 different types of warm bread fresh from the oven there daily served with a pesto spread and an olive spread. We both chose the complimentary Caesar salad full of crunchy romaine and lightly dressed. My friend ordered the pasta trio which was an excellent assortment that day - the ravioli filled with pear and ricotta cheese was heavenly. I enjoyed my pollo al limone but the chicken breast was a little tough. The sauce of roasted lemon, capers, and olives was divine. My friend was served a huge piece of tiramisu, complete with a candle. It was a wonderful afternoon!"

We arrived 45 minutes early ahead of our reservation and were accommodated with a smile. Our waiter was a joy; he was attentive, and helpful, giving us his personal favorites when we had difficulty ordering. Everything was beautifully plated and full of flavor. Portions were generous and we left full and happy. My husband had the pasta trio - he had two helpings of all three as he could not choose a favorite - they all were full flavored. I had the fennel sausage with pea puree with fennel - what a great flavor combo. A wonderful experience - we will make a special trip to Pittsburgh just to go back!"

The Trio that you serve for dinner was to die for, I could of kept eating refills, not only because of the exceptional table side service, but those fluffy stuffed raviolis that seemed like the Pittsburgh staple of a pierogi.   • "We got there early, seated promptly, scones/flavored butter excellent as was the mimosa and sangria. Antipasta bar was superb things like mussels were a surprise. All very tasty. I had trio pasta - loved two out of three. The orechette had a flavor that I did not care for (not just here - had before and don't know what it is). My husband had the gnocci with duck ragu - said it was excellent. Had coffee with the dessert bar. Tiramisu was delicious as was the almond cake. Something with blueberry sauce that was delicious. All in all the brunch was more than we expected - service wonderful and the price was very affordable for all the food that we had. Have already been recommending. We definitely will be back."

  • "Having been fans of Lidia's TV shows for quite a while we were excited to visit the "real thing" when in Pittsburgh. We were not disappointed! We enjoyed the the three course dinner --- pasta trio, Caesar salad and the signature dessert, tiramisu. We were not familiar with some of the pasta dishes but the servers were very pleasant (and not condescending) in explaining each one. The restaurant was quite full but no one seemed rushed and it was a very pleasant evening."

  • "I have been watching Lidia on tv for years and have always wanted to eat her beautiful food. It only took me 27 yrs but hubby took me for our date night. It was a Thursday so I knew it would be nice and quiet which it was. The resturant it's self is beautiful. Our waitress was promt to greet us however, we both ordered calamari and she never said "hey just FYI that's a whole lot of food!" It was a whoooole lot of food.best calamari ever though.Very yummy everything though!"
