  • "Open table was very convenient and easy. Restaurant was nicely lit, music was subtle and did not drown our conversation, service was good and the building looked clean both inside and out. Construction is ongoing on the exterior and it looks like it will be beautiful when complete. I've joined the birthday club and am now enrolled in their points rewards."

  • "I have dined numerous times here. The restaurant is always busy, but never had trouble or long wait times. There is a bar and it can get pretty loud. But otherwise the atmosphere is quite nice. I have eaten almost thru the menu and would recommend anything on it. The food is cooked to order as you speak directly to the chef. Salad bar is wonderful with lots of selections and a big block of cheese at the end. For us cheeseaholics ! And fresh bread too. The staff is always pleasant and gets anything you need. I will continue to go, I never get tired of it."

Food never fails to be perfection, service is always great, we love the dim lighting and the quiet. This time was a birthday dinner and the birthday boy was asked where he wanted to go for his birthday. Without hesitation he said Library IV."

  • "We added 2 people to our table before arriving. All 4 enjoyed the menu, One member was upset about the high cost of the filets. The ladies enjoyed the 3 course Sunday special and each chose a different wine. The Cabernet sauvignon complemented the steak Diane. The German Riesling complemented the Tilapia, The gentlemen were pleased with their filets cooked to their liking. Their wines were complementary as well. The carrot cake was moist and had a very tasty icing. The Irish cake had an excellent aroma and very nutty flavor. Our waitress was non intrusive and attentive."

  • "Once again, a great Saturday dinner. This time, we brought the kids. King crab legs for the twelve and ten year olds with a ribeye for me and a filet for the hubby. The hostess was kind enough to give us a booth in our favorite section, back by the salad area."

  • "The filet is fantastic and comparable to Ruth's, Morton's, Flemings, etc. at an affordable price. Salad Bar is fresh and great. The Bar is a hot spot although hard core drinks are very small and overpriced (example was my Manhattan which was probably 4 ounces including a glass full of ice). But that is only one criticism with many more positive than negative. I went for salad bar and my wife the filet with salad bar and enjoyed very much. Will be back many more times by ourselves, with family and friends and all will have a great dinner."

  • "Once again, great dinner! I keep saying I'm going to try something different but don't. The ribeye is just too yummy. This time we had my 9 year old stepson with me. It was his first time there. He is a picky eater. He had the quesadilla and salad bar. He only had two pieces of the quesadilla after the salad and was full. I had a chocolate banana which was also great. I am going to try a different drink every time I go because you have such a variety. We will definitely be back."

Every time I go there my meal is cooked exactly as ordered. You cannot go wrong by making Library IV one of the top restaurants on your list."

  • "We went for the first time to this one for a good steak on a Saturday night. Make reservations if not you will wait. Even with 7:00 reservations we had a 15 minute wait. The food is not cheap but very good. I had the rack of Lamb that was fantastic and my husband had the surf and turf that he raved about. He even had room for desert the chocolate mouse cake."

  • "We are long time patrons of the Library II in Marlton. We were the area where Library IV is and decided to try Lib IV figuring it was the same owners. Well, that how they started but have since split into separate owners. But they operate identical to Lib II in every way. The unique way to order your meal, the salad bar, the Shelves of Books.... Amazing and a must for Steak Lovers."

  • "We took a party of 10 for our daughter's 18th birthday. They staff was very attentive, although we were in a sort of sun room type of section of the restaurant and it was rather chilly. The food was wonderful. Our 12 year old ordered shrimp cocktail as his entree and they were nice enough to give him the salad bar as well at no charge. The portions are generous, the price is right on. This was our second visit and we will definitely return."

  • "The food here is great. Wonderful cut of filet for a decent price. Atmosphere is semi-ambient and romantic but can become kinda loud and the layout doesn't leave for much privacy or intimacy. One thing I would fix if I could would be to get some better beers on tap in the vein of craft beers instead of the usual gross and boring domestic mainstream offerings. Props for Guinness on tap but I'm a beer guy and nice places usually focus more on wine so I won't detract for that. Definitely recommend."

  • "Great for steak and seafood. Prime rib was a really nice cut and cooked to perfection. amazing crab stuffed mushrooms. good selection of tap beers. And all of the little details that make the difference between a really nice meal and a mediocre meal. The salad bar has a great variety which includes breads and cheese, and everything is perfectly fresh every time. The ordering style is different than most restaurants, and may seem awkward at first, but it allows you to ensure your food is prepared exactly the way you like it."

  • "We had a 7:30 reservation, so we arrived at 7:15. We were not seated until after 8:00....OK ..I ordered new york strip with a twice baked potato & my date got salmon with crab & a twice baked potato. My steak was tasty but was very fatty & had a long strip of fat on the edge of it & my twice baked potato was made from instant potatoes & was horrible ! The salad bar was not stocked very well & items were empty ! The salmon was bland & the service was spotty. We were left sitting for long periods of time with no waiter in site.....next time I will go back to the Franklinville Inn...never had a bad meal there !"

  • "The Library has live entertainment on the wknds, and fabulous steak and seafood. The Salad bar is "to die for". Drinks are moderately priced. Overall, it's not a Ruth Chris, but it has more than enough other redeeming qualities to make it superior to the Prime Steak Houses in many ways. The locals, as well as the Outa Town-ers come by to frequent the Library-4. I give it 4 stars only because nothing is better than one really incredible place I went to in Jackson Hole Wyoming. That place lacked everything I mentioned above, but it was truly the best steak in the entire civilized world - so I gave that one a 5 star rating. The Library-4, it's a good place to take your wife or girlfriend (not at the same time though)."

  • "The food was OK but not wonderful. I had the Salmon stuffed with crab meat. It had more oil on it than I like. I had the sweet potato baked. Not on the menu. I was glad that they could bake it. But I was disappointed that it had a large dark spot. I did not complain because it was large and I could eat from the normal side. My husband was fully satisfied with the steak that he ordered. He ordered sauteed mushrooms as an after thought, not with the original order. They quite about bringing it. It was a matter of seconds, maybe 1 minute at most. But it was obvious to me that they were canned mushrooms and did not look sauteed."

  • "An old classic place - great steaks and salad bar - open kitchen a bit - you go up an order, no menu at the table, so you order at the kitchen. Steaks cooked to perfection. Do not let the outside of the buidling fool you, it is under construction a bit and sort of plain, but the inside is warm and welcoming. Seems staff has all been there a while so the customer service is top notch and welcoming and efficient. Feels like a neighborhood place which is a nice change from chain restaurants. Highly recommend."

  • "Totally recommend using open table to get a reservation. We arrived and it was a 45-120min wait, they asked us if we called in a reservation, I said no but booked through open table. They checked the computer and we were sat in 8 min. Food was amazing! Salad bar was excellent, life is good..."

First, the service is just bad all the time, with the same servers and hostess who think service is nothing but a fake smile and neglect of their customers. Second, the decor is old and not maintained. On the exterior, they are re-doing the siding so now it looks like a factory!"
