I recently stayed at the Hilton hotel and stopped by Liberty Tavern for dessert and breakfast the following morning. Dessert was good (mixture of fresh fruit). I had a complimentary breakfast buffet as a HHonors member. The food was very good, hot, since selection of continental as well as cooked to order options. Service was wonderful! The staff was very friendly. I would stop by here again.

We had to meet my dad on a Saturday morning for brunch and the options in this area were extremely limited. The service was spotty and a bit awkward. My husband and I both ordered the veggie frittata and it was extremely over cooked, so the eggs were a bit rubbery. The atmosphere was very nice and cozy on a cool autumn morning and if the food and service were improved I would certainly go back again.

We were staying at the Hilton Hotel and ate at the Liberty Tavern for dinner. The service was excellent as well as the food. It was quiet but accommodated my nieces and nephews, to the point of having butter noodles for my niece. I would definitely eat hear again.

We had a reunion breakfast here when my friend and her son have the transit time for four hours. I had a good and cozy impression to this restaurant from my previous visit, but this time, I need to reduce down the points for several reasons. The hostess and the servers were attentive. However, the food took quite some time before being delivered, the place was just too loud and chaotic even when the fire place was adding some ambience to the place. I might use it again because it is conveniently located close from the airport and they reimburse the parking fee if you dine and order entree. The guest did not like the strangely taste cream underneath the fruit plate. I would prefer any cream as a side to a fresh fruit plate!

I had made reservations via Open Table because being so close to the airport, didn't know how busy it would be on Friday night at 8pm. Definitely did not need reservations. There were only 4 tables with customers in the restaurant and the service was incredibly slow. We order a basic appetizer...it never came. Thankfully we didn't get charged for it, we didn't ask for it because the server really didn't come back to our table until the food came and by then, it wasn't worth it. Our food came about 60 mins after we ordered...and there was no one in the restaurant. I would hate to see them busy. The food however was very good, but with no one in there and the wait time...I doubt we will go back the next time we fly out of O'Hare.

We got to sit by the fire and enjoy some really great food. It was a Sunday afternoon and was very quiet, but we were told it can get more crowded when there is a big convention going on across the street. Had to get parking ticket, but they validated it so parking was free.

We were in town from Wisconsin for Valentine's weekend and decided to make reservation's in the hotel restaurant since we didn't know our way around, but wanted a special meal. There were 6 of us. Since I was the one that made the reservation, I was nervous that not everyone would be satisfied, but I was happy when everyone gobbled up their meal and complained of being "too full". I had the special lobster and filet and it was excellent!

We recommend Liberty Tavern. We worked by phone and email with the staff to arrange and host an anniversary and holiday celebration for more than 20 attendees - including an individual on a wheelchair. The manager/supervisor helped arrange and print a special menu, select drinks, appetizers, and desserts, which were all very good. The ambiance was warm and inviting with a large gas fireplace. Staff were friendly, professional and anticipated our every need. The price was reasonable for the quality of service and the lovely table. The location worked well for people coming from 3 states and several suburbs and parking was available. All in all, this was a winner.

Seems like all the steakhouses are in Rosemont but what if you don;t want that extravaganza? This is a great airport hotel option with a wonderful fireplace. It was quiet...but in all honesty, it was a Rosemont locale on a Saturday night. Very, very good value in a nice hotel that is easy to get to,park, even the Blue Line gets you almost there. Would recommend.

My group really enjoys dining here- especially the table by the fireplace. The food was wonderful; try the risotto (excellent!). We were a bit dissapointed in the slow service. There were only two other tables besides us, yet we had to wait quite a while for all of our food, from beginning appetizers, to salads, to main course, to dessert. Good thing the ambiance was nice or we would have been highly dissapointed.

Our business group had breakfast and lunch at the Liberty Tavern. Our meeting was held at the Hilton Rosemont, so the dining location was convenient. There were a variety of items on the menu to choose from. We had several vegetarians, so this was important. Our server was very attentive, and the food was delicious. We would definitely dine at this restaurant again.

We really had high hopes for this restaurant. It is in a great location and the lobby at the Hilton provides a grand entrance to the restaurant, but that's where the good news ends. The appetizer was cold, The burger didn't have much flavor, the beer menu was very limited, the server did not have an in-depth knowledge of the food or drink menu (nor were they very responsive) and on a Saturday at 6:30 it was deserted. They also didn't have ANY music which, when combined with the absence of customers, made it feel eerily quiet. The pot pie was decent and the the interior is visually appealing but unless I was staying at the Hilton, I wouldn't eat there again.

This was a decent hotel restaurant. I wished the physical location was a little more detached from the hotel lobby and the space was kind of small. The wine list could have offered at least 1 top end wine, and the menu felt sparse. But the food we did order was delicious and the fireplace made the room feel cozy.

A must is the crushed potatoes on the Pub fare menu. Love the crunch on them. Chicken pot pie had a great flaky crust, but the inside was pretty heavy, reminded my dinner companion of clam chowder. The staff can be a bit too eager, from the server, the bus boy, the bus girl and I think at one pt even the manager coming by to check on us. Felt more intrusive, then being waited on.

After I read the reviews for Liberty Tavern, I booked a table for 20 on a Thursday evening. Only 15 guests arrived and the service was horrible. There were not many other guests dining that evening, so I would not say that it was busy. The waiter took the orders, forgot to take the rest of the guests' order who were sitting at our table. the meals were brought out sporadically. It was very difficult to get a drink. Water was not refilled, we were never asked how our dinner was, and it was difficult to get their attention for another glass of wine. The food was great and the atmosphere is a great place. Either it is poorly managed or they were short staffed that night. Either way, I doubt that I will go back.
