Private Party Facilities: Liberty House boasts numerous open-air terraces, two tented pavilions and an outdoor garden in addition to several unique and distinct rooms: Grand Ballroom Located on the 2nd floor, the Grand Ballroom boasts a vaulted 30ft cathedral ceiling, exposed duct and wood work, finished metal, and neutral colors. Floor-to-ceiling windows afford breathtaking, panoramic views, while French doors allow access to a wrap-around terrace. The Liberty Room Located on the 1st floor, the Liberty Room opens up to a Garden Pavilion as well as the Manhattan skyline, open-air terraces, and entrance to our 8,000 square foot garden. Gardens at Liberty House The Liberty House Gardens offer segmented areas featuring herbs, wildflowers, natural grasses, and life-size chess set, all with the Manhattan skyline as its backdrop.

"Excellent food, glorious view. Reasonably priced for both food and drink - widely varied wine list so there's something for the connoisseur but also a cheaper bottle if you don't want to splash out, and the cocktails are delicious (if a little strong).

Best points: the view; the food; secluded location (on a sort of peninsula only shared with another restaurant/bar)
Not so great: not all the tables have a Manhattan view; the ferry back to Manhattan finishes really early so we had to spend $45 on a cab back.

We would definitely recommend and would go again ourselves if ever nearby."

"Wonderful place to bring out of town guests due to the sweeping views of the New york City skyline and the statue of liberty (including Ellis Island). The food is as good as the view and the service was excellent. Fabulous brunch spot! We will be back"

"The place had a great scenic view of downtown Manhattan. The upstairs had a wedding going on but it was not intrusive on our dinner. The waiter was fun and was ok. The food was fantastic. Everyone at our table enjoyed the dinner. Was expecting a high bill and it was reasonable. The drinks were very good. Overall if I had to complain about anything was the table was a little wabbaly. Hehe

Would def come back!"

"We were alone at the bar and still had to beg for service throughout the evening. Very aggravating. I had noted on the Open Table reservation that I was entertaining a VIP client. The next day, I received an email that Open Table was informed by the restaurant that my reservation was cancelled. I had to contact customer service to let them know we arrived early and we sat and ate. I strongly doubt I would go back."
