  • "Went on a Thursday night and they were packed; which probably indicates that they are popular. Ended up sitting in a booth in the bar area (which was also packed) but didn't feel too bar-y (if that makes sense). Due to the amount of people, it was a little too noisy for my taste as my date and I date to raise our voices to be heard across the table. However, the food was very, very good. We both got the lasagna with me pairing it with a wine recommended by our waitress. The portion was large but we both finished because it was so good. The waitress was very good and the owner was there walking around, shaking hand, and asking how our meals were. All in all, I had a great dinning experience and will definitely go back again."

  • "We had an odd experience. Looked like they were short staffed this evening. We were shown our table and were soon forgot. Hostess was busy busing tables and not sure if she assigned our table to a wait person. I approached the hostess and she was very sorry we were forgot. She bought us a drink and quickly got a server to our table. We appreciated her efforts. Food and service was great as always."

  • "Have been to Liberatore's several times for dinner, and special occasions. Each time our service and food has been excellent. Much friendlier than Paradiso. Fresh bread, great meals and wonderful desserts in a classy (but not snobby) setting. The owner even stopped by to make sure everything was prepared to our satisfaction - nice touch. Definitely recommend."

  • "I have been to Libertores many times in my life in the Owings Mills restaurant. I've only been to the Westminster location one other time. This experience was very disappointing. Our waitress seemed new. She forgot a place setting, had to be asked for the 2nd round of drinks that she attributed to the bar being backed up. Frankly I think she forgot to put in the order. Our table was crammed next to the register. When we first arrived, as we tried to sit down, several servers were running around with large trays of food. We had to stand still so they could get past us to serve their customers. It was a disaster in the making. My food was cooked to perfection. My husband's was cold. If I go there again, it will be takeout."

  • "We celebrated my birthday and Valentines Day at this great restaurant. The service was exceptional and very fast. The food was well prepared and seasoned just right. I especially enjoyed my dish which were the broiled chicken breasts topped with crab imperial. I was fighting to keep my leftovers all to myself the next day."

  • "I was visiting my daughter at college and we went looking for a restaurant. We wanted Italian so we went to Liberatore's. The food was great. I'm so glad we found this place. We are from New York and haven't found a restaurant tat "cooks" what we re use to. I felt like we were eating in our favorite NYC Italian restaurant. We will always go here!"

  • "With a party of five, celebrating a birthday, we asked to use the front room - no problem. We asked that they lower the volume of the music in the room - again no problem. Three of us had the buffet, which was excellent. Two, who are vegetarians ordered off the dinner menu, even though it was lunch time. The food was excellent and the service was terrific. We will definitely come back!"

  • "Carroll County is pretty limited for fine dining or excellent food, but Liberatore's has been a family favorite for years and returning after many years, the quality of food is certainly still there in a pretty nice atmosphere with friendly staff. It's good to know I can come home and have a nice Italian meal in Westminster. The wine list is a bit limited especially by the glass, but is moderately priced. I had the crab ravioli which was phenomenal and my granddad's veal liberatore was excellent as well."

  • "Excellent food! I really enjoy this place and will continue to come back. NOTE:This location is quiet compared to the Timonium location and not quite as "blingy," however Timonium prices for the EXACT same food are approximately 25-133% more... depending on what you order. While some menu items might only be a dollar or so difference, some entrees are priced $5-$7 higher at Timonium, the sides are 76% more expensive at Timonium, wine is 20-133% more expensive when you purchase by the glass at Timonium, etc. This adds up quickly if you order appetizers, entrees, sides, desserts, wine plus you're tipping on a higher amount. We calculated our meal was over $100 less expensive at Westminster despite a better atmosphere there. Dine in WMinster!"

Great surprise to learn that they even serve Ideal Protein Meals cooked to specs of Diet (for anyone on High Protein, Limited Carb), which was just extraordinary for an Italian place! It was also quite a surprise how very nice the décor is inside for being at the end of a strip mall."
