Having tried every steak house in the desert LG serves the best. Steaks exhibit a very deep beef flavor that is both savory and exceptionally tender. It is a great choice for special events with a group of friends. The meal servers provide a little show carrying stacks of plates on one arm. The staff are well trained with a polite clean presentation of service. Options are broad and you pay for every item. French onion soup, although a tad salty, was hearty and flavorful. Wedge Salad had perfect amount of blue cheese and bacon. Steaks cooked perfectly. Service was wonderful - friendly knowledgable server & staff kept our glasses full and cleared dishes efficiently. I highly recommend the restaurant. The waiter was attentive and kept checking back to make sure that we had what we wanted and needed. I mentioned that I wanted another cocktail after the one I had and he checked back several times to find out when I wanted it. He made a recommendation for a side dish of local corn that is only available for a short time and he was right, it was a great dish. This was in addition to the salad, potatoes au gratin and Prime Rib that we had. The Prime Rib was cooked medium rare as we requested and was very delicious and flavorful. I wish that I had ordered the tableside ceasar salad, but next time... Chocolate cake to end it. My wife and I shared the porterhouse (giant 30oz). It was okay, but just didn't have the flavor or tenderness I expected. The steak might have come from an abused cow.

We both had the Prime Rib and it was fantastic. The thickest cut I ever had. I mentioned Birthday in the Open Table reservation and at the end of our nice dinner our waiter brought us a large slice of chocolate cake to celebrate her birthday at no additional charge. HOWEVER, the side dishes were less than mediocre--we will NEVER order the side dishes again.
