Very good food, we thought the appetizers were great (salmon tartare, green bean teriyaki, peppers & crab), but the dinners were good but not great. Restaurant was fairly noisy, which is great since we had a toddler in our group. Service also great

This was on of the worst resturants we have ever been to. Our appetizer was delivered without plates, when we caught the watress she said they were suppose to bring them with bread. She went into the kitchen and came out and said we are out of bread plates and brought us bowels. We had to ask for bread 3 times. I had the zucchini pasta and there was not flavor at all, I had asked for chicken with it and I think the chicken was boiled, again no flavor. I would NEVER return to this resturant.

We were delighted with our dinner in every detail, from the divinely seasoned whipped butter for the bread, the broad selection of vegetables and other sides, as well as an incredible selection of entrees. We chose pork, duck, and steak tips entrees and all were cooked and seasoned to perfection. I was especially impressed with the unusual but wonderful 'root vegetable mash' and the tastily sautéed brussel sprouts. We appreciated the relaxed atmosphere yet always felt that our server was attentive to our needs. The restaurant décor is elegant and stylish in its simplicity and they've done a nice job in controlling noise. I thought the décor was a bit 'sparse' but admit that's a personal preference and will not stop me from returning!!

Went to Lexx to try a new place and found a friendly and accommodating staff, delicious food, and a very nice crowd. The table bread and butter was great as was our calamari to start. I had a NY Strip and my wife had steak tips. Both were perfectly cooked. My new favorite side dish is freekeh. There was plenty already accompanying out entrees, but I needed taste it and they made it so good. There is so much more on the menu and we will certainly return.

Food was not particularly good. Every dish seemed overly complex and menu was all over the place. The end result was good that just did not taste good. Service was quite poor. It seemed like they were understaffed. Some food was served at the proper temperature, but other dishes clearly had been sitting for too long. We won't be going back.

This was our first visit to Lexx. We were welcomed by a friendly chef and hostess, and found the waitress to be friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Picked this restaurant because half our diners were vegetarians and they had a decent selection. They didn't dissappoint the vegetarians or meat eaters. All the apps we got were vegetarian and very pleasing. The diners who ordered the gnocchi were happy. I ordered the paella which was good, not fantastic. Nice presentation but lacking what I would expect to see in a paella; shrimp, sausage and the crispy rice bottom. The diners who got dessert enjoyed their selections a lot. Minor hiccups in service but they were quickly rectified. I would go back again.

Parking is a bit of a challenge at lunch time, but doable. I waited at the door, with a line behind me,for close to five minutes before a hostess was able to seat me.Once in the dining room was pleasant and light filled. The menu has many attractive options. Wait-service was helpful, and service was fine, although my water glass was not filled after I received it. I ordered a medium rare hamburger which was medium well done, which was disappointing. Dessert and coffee were very good. Less is a good place for lunch as the atmosphere is relaxed and not too noisy. I think the main course could have been better. Looking forward to a better meal next time.

My wife and I ate there on Sep 20th. I got the jambalaya, which was good, but my wife got the Osso buca, which was simply outstanding! Best we have ever had. Prices were reasonable, and the portions were good sized. We sat at the bar, and the service was terrific too! This is now on our Go Back list.

First visit to Lexx on a weekday evening around 6 p.m. Excellent ambiance. After hostess seated us,we observed wait staff standing against the wall but no one approached us for approx. 20 minutes. Waiter at an adjacent table eventually noticed and asked if we had service. We said no; he went to find our server and returned saying no one had been assigned to this table and so offered to become our server. Waiter offered useful insights into menu. Modifications were easily made for one guest's special diet; food was delicious. Wine list met the needs of diverse tastes.

We ordered specials - 1) potato gnocchi and 2) roasted salmon and both were delicious. The gnocchi were sautéed and had a light brown crust with a nice tomato and prosciutto sauce. Only comment is they were a bit tough (sautéing probably) but not overly so and the flavor was nice. Have had gnocchi at some restaurants which were light as air and some like lead pellets. This dish was fine. Salmon was roasted with the skin on which was dark and crispy. Thought the fish would be dry and overcooked. The fish meat was tasty if perhaps only a bit overcooked. The sauce was very nice as well. All in all two enjoyable meals.

We had the restaurant week menu. My appetizer of a pear salad was excellent, however my husband's black bean soup was extremely watery. Our entrees of the gnocci and pork chop were excellent, however three quarters of the way through the meal, a fly made itself home on top of my husband's pork chop. Needless to say he didn't finish his meal. We told our wait person and the restaurant was very accommodating - refunding us the cost of the pork chop. The dessert of creme brulee was delicious - just the right crispiness on the top combined with the very smooth blueberry cream.

We went last minute on Saturday through the open table booking and it was a very nice find. Not your run of the mill menu which was very nice! We had a late lunch/brunch so we weren't too hungry and they were happy to split everything for us. I have always wanted to try chicken and waffles and it was an appetizer and the waffle was delicious! We then split a pear/spinach salad and the ravioli in fig sauce with prosciutto - very good. Topped it off with a nice chocolate cake and coffee. Only complaint was the small selection of wines by the glass otherwise a great night out and we will be back.

Lexx is our go-to restaurant when catching a movie at the Lexington cinema. For me, it allowed the evening to be all about the people I was there to enjoy and not about constant interruptions or mediocre food. The flow of service happened quietly while we continued our conversations. The food arrived fresh, hot, and I highly recommend the smoked onion dip with the sweet potato chips made fresh. It had a comfortable and classic feel. If there were televisions there, I didn't notice them (which is a HUGE plus in my books). And there is an option to sit outside.
