Booked a group dinner for a friend's bachelorette party and planned to stay after for drinks. Melanie was awesome in helping to make the reservation and answering questions. Very romantic/hip place, pleasant staff, creative and delicious drinks. Outdoor patio is nice, too. There was another table with a bachelorette party next to ours, so I guess we were in the right place!

This is a pleasant restaurant (right around the corner from the Pantages) in a part of town that seems to be slowly rebounding, and with a plethora of potential hot-spots. The menu has a wide range of tastes and prices, and the service was efficient, pleasant, and respectful (without being, at all, overbearing). Cute spot.

If you're in to cocktails this is a gem. Bartender took his time and enjoyed making our drinks (put other so-called mixologists to shame). Unusual brisket preparation (almost like a roast) which was excellent. No real complaints, really nice staff, not pretentious at all. Prix Fixe menu reasonable and just right before the show. Again take time at the bar before dinner and try a couple of their featured cocktails at happy hour (1/2 price!). Enjoy!

I had high hopes for this restaurant, the ambience is great and the staff are friendly and attentive. It was fine for a pre-theater dinner, but would try out other places in the neighborhood before returning. The smoked beet salad was tastefully presented , but the flavor a little meh. Definitely needed salt, greens were wilted and presented more like garnish than salad. On a positive note, the salmon was really delicious, served with great vegetables. Hangar steak needed seasoning. A bite of each dessert were ok.

If you are looking for good food and a quick walk to the Pantages Theatre, then this fits the bill. Wine list was excellent so long as you brought a big wallet. Food was okay, but it felt more like they were trying to serve creative fare and be that fancy restaurant but just couldn't quite pull it off. I wouldn't dine here again given the abundance of other options in the vicinity.

We reserved the Lexington Social House for 5 p.m. Sunday as we were going to the Pantages Theater afterwards. The restaurant was quiet. Very few customers. Limited prix fixe menu and an appetizer menu available. NOT a lot of selection or variety of food! The restaurant was already out of the soup on the prix fixe menu! The salmon was good. We got charged as if we were ordering separate items on the prix fixe menu rather than being charged the prix fixe price of $29 for a 2-course meal. The waiter was slow and not very bright. The bartender did not know how to make a virgin mojito. Avoid Sundays at Lexington Social House as the restaurant seems to be out of some food and the restaurant does NOT have its best staff on!

Was pleasantly surprised with my first time experience at LSH. The menu is a bit trite, so no surprises there, but the service was SO excellent that I had to respond. My small-ish birthday dinner group grew to a large-ish one as the result of a the Brazilian music fesitval that was happening simultaneously. I imagine that booking the reservation for a time after the Pantages crowd was finishing their meals certainly helped. We were treated graciously and seated prominently. The layout is deceptively large, with a well appointed open patio in the back. Really appreciated the valet parking. Great place for weekend drinks on a girls night out. I WILL be back.

We had a nice dinner here, before seeing a show at the Pantages. What made the dining experience somewhat unusual was that a restaurant reality show was being filmed on the patio where we had dinner. There were lighting technicians and camera people and it made the dining experience definitely feel like we were in Hollywood. The restaurant is lovely and the staff were very friendly and courteous. We had pizzas with a bottle of wine and our daughter had the grilled chicken. The food and wine were both very good.

This was our first time at LSH. I googled restaurants near Pantages, and got several venues with reviews. LSH had some evil reviews mixed in but the photos of the food were what I love. We booked online and showed up early, parking next door. We had a fabulous time before the show. The service was awesome, the food was delectable. ONE OF THE FRESHEST CEASAR SALADS I have ever had. We will return. Thank you Lexington Social House.

It started at the Lexington Social House. I decided to take myself out for a date. The reviews for LSH looked great and I wanted to eat somewhere close to the Pantages Theater. Table for one never sounded so good. I sat by the open window and got to enjoy a perfect Los Angeles sunset while eating Mushroom Risotto with a side of Garlic Broccoli. The combination of flavors was divine. Very fitting for the atmosphere which was also romantic and soothing. The wait staff carried smiles on their faces and checked on my just enough to meet my needs but not too much to be pushy. I felt amply attended to. An overall friendly experience. I will definitely come here again. Thank you LSH for starting my evening out right.

We came here to have dinner before going to see Book of Mormon. The Prix-Fixe menu is great! 2-courses for under $30 or 3-courses under $40 and it includes valet. You can even leave your car there while you go to the show! The only thing is that the valet stand is confusing as it only says "33Taps" and doesn't mention that the valet is for Lexington Social House as well. But overall, great place to go, especially for a pre-show dinner!

The Lexington Social House pays attention to details. They called to confirm my reservation, and called to see how my experience had been. Fantastic decor and ambiance. We recently ate here before a show at the Pantages. For their pre fixe meal, which they push as the only way to complete your meal under two hours, they offer only very basic roast chicken or vegetarian risotto. Fine for those who want that, but get this, every person at the table must order the same meal! The one lemon tart we shared was good and the restaurant is right next door to the Pantages, but four basic chickens for over $100 later, we left wishing we had opted to walk a bit farther for a better meal. One other thing, they offer valet parking, but when we arrived there was no place to pull in without blocking Vine Street and no attendant to be seen, so ended up paying $20 at the lot next door.

If you would like to dine before seeing a show at the Pantages Theater, here's a great find that's right around the corner, literally. They even have a Prix Fixe Menu, of two or three courses with three choices for each, and a wine pairing to go with each course. It was excellent! Make sure they know you're going to the theater and they will get you out in time. It made our evening!

Overall, good dining experience. Great for a night out with friends. The bar was happening with a DJ playing house music. Above average service ; our waiter was quite helpful answering questions and making suggestions. The sliders are a must and the jidori chicken was fried perfectly. The only draw back is it takes 20 minutes or more to get your car back from Valet on a Saturday night they park for several of the venues in the area).

Went for a pre-theater dinner on a Sunday night. They only serve a limited (3 entree) menu plus pizzas. We ordered two pizzas and asked if we could get a salad with them even though the only salad offered was on the three course dinner menu, the waiter said we could but it would be $12 for the salad, seriously! Every other appetizer was in the $8-9 range. Had to ask the waiter numerous times for bread, wine, etc. The wine pours were tiny yet the price per glass was quite high. When our pizzas came the order was incorrect so we sent one back and waited and waited, 20 minutes later after the rest of our party had finished eating our pizza finally came. I've eaten at LSH before and had a good experience with their regular menu. Unhappy!

Booked a 6pm reservation here for dinner before an 8pm show at the Pantages Theater. We arrived a few minutes late and were promptly seated. Our drink order was taken quickly and served, the dinner order took a bit longer. We waited an hour and 15 minutes before our appetizers arrived, then another half hour till our main courses were delivered. We rushed through eating our food, which was decent, but had no time to even consider a desert. The space was lovely and had a great atmosphere, but I think the restaurant could have staffed better to accommodate the quantity of patrons before the show.

The good...food didn't knock my socks off, but it was tasty enough. It was also a great location for going to the Pantages. The not so good was our waiter, not terrible, but lacked follow through (as in asking if we wanted bread and water and never seeing him for so long, we needed to ask other staff for these basics) and every time we did see him, the wait for anything seemed very long. The place didn't seem all that busy. He then did one of the most annoying things a waiter can do, all but ignore us all evening, then as we're paying the bill, suddenly become attentive and animated. I know we can all have off days at work, but if you're going to ignore us all meal, don't try to up your tip in the last two minutes.

We made an open Table reservation 15 mins before we showed up at 9:45. The restaurant quits food at 10 but because they had no reservations past 9 they closed the kitchen at 930 and sent the hostess home. There were only two other tables eating when we got there and it looked as though they were just waiting for their check. Instead of turning us away they fired up the kitchen and gave us a 5 star meal with 5 star service. It was exactly what we needed after a long day working. As an ex restaurant owner I feel like they did exactly what they should have, but you would be surprised how many people would turn you away in that situation. Huge props to the chef and staff at Lexington Social House.

The greeting by the hostess and the wait staff was superb. Laura, our waitress was helpful, friendly and very efficient. The food, while cooked to perfection, was very bland. I had the mushroom risotto which was creamy, a generous amount of mushrooms and a good portion. My partner had the petite filet mignon and potato gratin which again was perfectly cooked. The concern we both had was the food was very bland, like there had been almost no use of any spices, especially no salt or pepper. While this shouldn't be too big a deal, to go further, no salt and pepper is on any table. Was it so sever to send back or talk to the waitress, no, just a caution for anyone who likes a lot of spice to their food. Very nice overall experience.

Went Sunday afternoon w/ a group before going to Book of Mormon. My hubby and I were the first to arrive. Hubby felt a bit of a cold coming on & had the best Hot Tottie ever. I really enjoyed Lexington Social House's version of the Moscow Mule. Tasty. A must have for any mule drinker. The place was gorgeous, but pretty empty. By the time we were leaving for the show, a few more people started to file in. We sat outside & had the patio to ourselves. Our waiter was awesome. The manager also came by several times to check on us. So A+ for service. The food was good but not great. I enjoyed the Caesar salad and monkey bread from the Pantages menu. My entrée, the cod, definitely had a fishy taste. But my husband's brisket was solid.

Looked great but turned out to be comical & disappointing. There were about 5 booths and everybody looked like they were seated about the same time as us. There was a long period of inactivity until the appetizers started to come out. The problem was that the servers had idea what table ordered what. They would come out, guess the wrong table and head back to the kitchen. They would try again, guess wrong and head back into the kitchen. Eventually we got our appetizer just a bit on the cool side as they tried to figure out who got what. The piece of fish I got was small and a bit luke warm as it had been passed around a few times until I waved the waiter over when I realized he had our plates and had no idea what table it was for.

My wife and I truly enjoyed the atmosphere, food, great service and convenience before seeing Book of Mormon at the Pantages on saturday night. While we ate early (at 6pm) to make the 8 pm play, the Lexington Social House was clearly a great place for later night dining and/or drinks. The people made the atmosphere even better.

We went here prior to the Theater. Food was good for the price, but I was not overtly impressed with the selections from the Pantageous Pre Fixe menu. The clans were very good, brisket was average, monkey bread was wonderful. My wife had the cauliflower soup which I thought was very bland an the cod which was really good. The wine pairing were excellent which we both enjoyed. We both enjoyed our experience, although next time we will try many of the other recommended places.
