Lexington Social HouseSpliting orderOdd the chef would not split their chopped salad we were sharing as appetizer and the server asked how the food was before we had taken one bite. Overall good experience.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMoutdoor patio is lounge style, outdoor patio is lounge style, not table seating good for a meal, which was disappointing to us. Open table was totally inaccurate in saying no availability at the time we requested. the place was empty.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect spot for casual dinnerStaff is always friendly. Food is great. This is the perfect quite spot in the early evening if you want to grab dinner before seeing a show at the Pantages or ate night partying. Although be careful when it's late at night and you are waiting for your car from the valet...(which takes forever), because there are a lot of people who have had one too many and are all over the place and there are plenty of pick pockets...my friend had their wallet stolen.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMLove the trendy decor. GreatLove the trendy decor. Great stop to eat dinner before going to Pantages or the Laugh Factory. Good is creative and very tasty. Interesting combinations but a lot of standard dishes too. Charcuterie board, scallops, mac & cheese, meatballs, cauliflower dishes were favorites. Great cocktails and decent wine list.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWHAT A PERFECT EVENING!Our waiter Jason was a perfect prelude to West Side Story that evening. He was very knowledgeable, personable and vibrant. The menu was very unique; items like the Bulgar Balls, Spinach, and the Fried Gnocchi. We'll be back for sure!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and service - lackingGreat food and service - lacking a bit of liveliness and energy.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first time atThis was our first time at Lexington. It came highly recommended by a friend. We enjoyed the ambience and decor, the service was attentive and friendly and they kept us on course to make our show at the Pantages (without feeling rushed). All the food choices were tasty, especially the diver scallops! I would definitely eat there again, whether or not I was seeing a show. I hear Wednesday nights there is jazz and a super special pizza menu. I'd love to make there!4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was great. ThereThe food was great. There were only a few other tables that were seated so our server was fast, friendly, and our food came out right on time. There was also a live jazz band, and they're there every Wednesday!4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMFood and service were veryFood and service were very good. Buratta and pear salad was excellent. Pork chop and baked potato were noting special. Drinks too pricey.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food and the atmosphereThe food and the atmosphere were both great. The decor is funky, cute & chic. The food was well prepared, seasoned well and portioned appropriately for two or even three to share. The Monkey Bread was FANTASTIC! Its been three days and I am still talking about it and craving it again. Well done Lexington Social House! Everyone will enjoy this place.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMI was skeptical after readingI was skeptical after reading the Open Table reviews, but still wanted to try someplace new and convenient to the Pantages. We were more than pleasantly surprised! We split a burrata salad that was yummy, and my seafood pasta was delicious--would definitely order it again. My friend enjoyed the salmon special. The creme brulee was decent. The service was helpful and efficient, and our food was hot. We left our car with the valet for the play ($6.50? $7?) and the wait wasn't too long to get it at the end of the evening. Would definitely come back again!3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food and serviceExcellent food and service in a cool space. We loved it.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything we had was fantastic!Everything we had was fantastic! I can not say enough great things-fresh herbs in everything-salads, soup, shrimp risotto was outstanding. We topped it off with the money bread with banana ice cream-it was huge and worth every bite at the gym the next day. The wine bottles were 1/2 off on Weds and live jazz music. We could not have had a better evening. Service was also great-Jason was very attentive. I appreciated the phone call the next day asking how everything was-I have never had that happen before!!! I have had catering events were I spent $$$$ at restaurants and have not gotten a phone call afterwards. This restaurant sets the bar high.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMBest waiter EVER! Fun, interesting,Best waiter EVER! Fun, interesting, DELICIOUS dishes in a trendy, refined atmosphere. Lexington Social House was truly a wonderful experience.3/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place. White shrimpGreat place. White shrimp and risotto, delish and plenty. Pork chop, huge and perfectly prepared. Will go again. Restaurant called this morning to see how we liked the place...Wow.2/27/2013 12:00:00 AMOur waiter (Jason or Justin?)Our waiter (Jason or Justin?) was perfect, as was the Seafood Tagliatelle! The pork chop was a bit dry and lacked any color on the plate... even a sprig of parsley would have spruced it up. The roasted pear salad didn't have as much flavor as we'd hoped, but the beet and fried goat cheese salad was pretty good. Stumbled onto the 1/2 price wine bottles on Wednesdays, which was an awesome find. Had a great time, which was helped by the $50 off Travelzoo deal we were there on. The Seafood Tagliatelle was the only really great dish we ordered, but the service and ambiance were terrific.2/27/2013 12:00:00 AMThe attention to detail fantastic. The attention to detail fantastic. You changed our forks and knives with each course. When dessert came we got a new napkin. These are special things we notice. Matthew may be the best waiter ever. We would gladly choose this restaurant again2/24/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner and a ShowI took my my GF to dinner there before we went and saw a musical at the Pantages. It's great location that provides parking and is short walk to the pantages.2/22/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was excellent & serviceFood was excellent & service was great. Thank you for a lovely evening Lexington!2/22/2013 12:00:00 AMIt's in the heart of Hollywood..GooIt's in the heart of Hollywood..Good food and charming waitress..a bit overpriced but well worth the price and paying for parking if you have a coupon or open table points!2/21/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food, a little priceyGood food, a little pricey though. Nice bar scene.2/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat before or after the PantagesI went to the Lexington Social House with 3 friends because of a 30% off coupon and because it's around the corner from the Pantages Theater. What a great surprise and a find! Definitely will go back again - glad the coupon got me to try it.
One friend and I each had their amazing pork chop, another had the scallops, and the fourth had the salmon special. We all raved about the food and we also shared a nice bottle of wine. Hands down we all agreed that it's a perfect pace to visit again, and their bar looked really cool as a place to grab a drink while in Hollywood.
Another bonus is that we got to valet park our car for $6.50 and walk 1/2 a block to the theater after dinner.2/17/2013 12:00:00 AMThis seems to be a diamondThis seems to be a diamond in the rough of the Hollywood area. The staff is friendly and the menu has a plethora of delightful options for any palate. I went on a Sunday night and it was practically empty, which is a shame. I would recommend this to any and every person - even those reluctant to dine in Hollywood. The valet was affordable as well!2/17/2013 12:00:00 AMLexington Social HouseWe had our valentine's day dinner here and the ambiance was perfect! It was a great treat to enjoy right before heading to the Pantages for a show. We loved that it wasn't too loud, so we could speak to each other normally and the cocktails were amazing! We would definitely go back for special occassions. It's a great new find!2/16/2013 12:00:00 AMIdeal spot, especially beforeIdeal spot, especially before a Pantages show. Prompt, attentive service. Outstanding food. Marinated beets & ceviche stood out.2/16/2013 12:00:00 AMI can't believe this was theI can't believe this was the first time I had ever been. It won't be the last, what great food and ambiance.2/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe will return! We came here during the DineLA Restaurant Week with my husband. We wouldn't have known about this place otherwise. The atmosphere/ambiance of the restaurant was eclectic and comfortable. We had the Crab Cake and the Meatballs for the starters-both were extremely delicious. The main course was Shrimp Risotto, and Ricotta Gnocchi. I really didn't want to even share one bite of my risotto, but hubby had to taste. It was scrumptious. Hubby had the gnocchi, and it had the same sauce as the meatballs, which he loved! We ended with a blackberry cheesecake, and a chocolate mousse cake - we shared both and our sweet tooth was satiated! We looked at the regular menu and have our meals chosen for our next visit! We will definitely be back!1/26/2013 12:00:00 AMDr. Wilson's 1/26/13 reviewI arrived late for my reservation. The staff provided me with a courtesy call, as the kitchen was going to close. They were willing to place my dinner order on the phone and answer every one of my questions. If one did not have the answer, they would find someone who did. Our server was very friendly and thorough. The food was outstanding. I had the Jadori (sp?) chicken. Fried chicken was juicy and flavorful with the perfect crunch. The greens and mashed potatoes accompanied the chicken perfectly. The livlier room featured "outdoor tent-like" ambiance, modern furnishings, a fireplace and a full bar. This is a crowd of professionals an entrepreneurs, who love to party and mingle. The DJ played a mix of hiphop, old skool and dance.1/25/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved this place! CocktailsLoved this place! Cocktails were good but $14-15 though which is pretty expensive. The place is perfect for dinner or drinks though. One side has the dining room and one side has the bar/dance floor with live music. It was Jazz when we went - perfect for dinner! There's also a really great patio and bar outside that looked perfect for catching up with a group of friends over drinks.1/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is the perfect locationThis is the perfect location for dinner either pre or post Pantages shows as well as a lovely place to dine for no reason at all. Food was excellent and the service outstanding. the fried chicken was delicious and one of the house specialties. We shared the crab artichoke dip which came with slivered almonds on top which added a nice flavor and texture to the dish. The monkey bread, again shared for dessert was wonderful and the banana ice cream that came with it simply perfect in taste and texture. Valet parking is available at the restaurant. If you dine, the valet is less than if you just used it for the Pantages or self parked. We can't wait to go back.1/20/2013 12:00:00 AMJason was an excellent serverJason was an excellent server - very knowledgeable and non-intrusive. The food was good in general. The shrimp was just okay (shrimp risotto). Drinks were a bit too expensive for what you get. In general, a nice experience made so by a great server. Worth a trip to check it out for yourself!1/4/2013 12:00:00 AMQuiet & cozy in the earlyQuiet & cozy in the early evening hours for a nice, date-worthy dinner inside. Drinks first though, the Honeyvine & the Polynesian, good lighter flavors, not too sweet, & when I got to the bottom of the Polynesian where a pinch of the cayenne sat I think I finally understood the drink, ha. Foodwise, had the delicious Fried Jidori chicken: nice size portion, enough to share, especially w/the mashed potatoes & the kale w/a kick to it! Diver Scallops were also meaty enough to fill up & the cauliflower mix it comes with was interesting. Kahlua creme brûlée for dessert, didn't taste much of the Kahlua and it was a bit too cold, but still a sweet way to end dinner. Our lady server was also attentive & informative, a big plus!12/28/2012 12:00:00 AMREALLY COOL SPACE.. new andREALLY COOL SPACE.. new and up and coming, check it out for sure.12/20/2012 12:00:00 AMPerfect Hollywood spot!We went here before a show at the Pantages...perfect location but beyond that, the food was delicious. The 3 in our party had gnocchi, butternut squash, & pizza along with the calamari appetizer and 2 delicious desserts-monkey bread (HIGHLY recommend) & kahlua creme brulee. Our experience was wonderful! Good service and reasonably priced too.12/14/2012 12:00:00 AMAlways enjoy my dinner andAlways enjoy my dinner and the ambiance of Lexington! Thank you!12/12/2012 12:00:00 AMI had an reservation for 5:45pmI had an reservation for 5:45pm on Saturday, but didn't arrive until 6pm. Since it wasn't real crowded at that time, there was no difficulty getting into the nicely laid-out atmosphere. My boyfriend and I had a light meal. We loved the meatball snacks, as well as our dinner. I noticed at least three different bar sections throughout the place, which I think is a really efficient way to keep the libations flowing rather than waiting for drinks to be served by one main bar. Nicely laid out for a singles night life.12/1/2012 12:00:00 AM
