I like the Mediterranean ambience, feels spacious even at a tiny table for two, and very good menu selection, which fit the bill for selections that are tasty but still healthy. So far, food here has never disappointed. Service was attentive but not cloying. Sadly, that location is closed, but The Dupont Circle location is very easily accessed via the metro. Their food is great, especially the puffed, grilled pita bread that they serve with olive oil. The outdoor area is spacious, and the service was attentive but not annoying. Portions have shrunk over time, but there is still plenty to eat on a plate. I had the feta pide which was dripping in olive oil goodness. I washed it down with the best gin and tonic I've had in a long time. Great lighting from big windows, would definitely go back for outdoor seating when it gets warmer. I did enjoy my falafel salad, fries and margarita. We all love Mediterranean food, so it was easy to find dishes we enjoyed. I had a salad with salmon, my husband and cousin had skewers, and we shared hummus and their great bread. Everything was fresh and delicious. The place was hopping for a weeknight, but not too loud to talk.
