I like the Mediterranean ambience, feels spacious even at a tiny table for two, and very good menu selection, which fit the bill for selections that are tasty but still healthy. So far, food here has never disappointed. Service was attentive but not cloying. The server was knowledgable about the menu and offered several suggestions. Food was good, coffee menu needs to be updated to reflect a name change and menu change for Levantes coffee, it no longer has alcohol in the recipe. Sadly, that location is closed, but The Dupont Circle location is very easily accessed via the metro. Their food is great, especially the puffed, grilled pita bread that they serve with olive oil. The outdoor area is spacious, and the service was attentive but not annoying. Portions have shrunk over time, but there is still plenty to eat on a plate. I had the feta pide which was dripping in olive oil goodness. I washed it down with the best gin and tonic I've had in a long time. We all love Mediterranean food, so it was easy to find dishes we enjoyed. I had a salad with salmon, my husband and cousin had skewers, and we shared hummus and their great bread. Everything was fresh and delicious. The place was hopping for a weeknight, but not too loud to talk.
