Leslie's is a "hidden gem" tucked in the hills of southern Vermont. Since 1986 Chef-Owner John Marston and his wife, Leslie have quietly created an oasis for great food in the Bellows Falls area. Quality is assured because our Chef cooks every meal every night! Utilizing fresh local ingredients,… many from his own garden, Chef John Marston offers unique, hard to resist dishes, that he has developed over his 30 year career. From Thai dishes to steaks to vegetarian we try to please a variety of palettes. Originally an 18th Century Tavern and Inn,Leslie's offers a candlelit atmosphere in three intimate dining rooms, a welcome respite from the faced paced world outside. "Went for Valentine's Day. Great evening. Food was outstanding. Restaurant was very busy so service was good, not the usual outstanding, but that is understandable. Would definitely recommend and will return. Chef John is quite the artist. His food gets better and better with each visit! Leslie's desserts are delicious!"

"The food was very, very delicious and good selections. The portion size very good. Prices alittle pricey for la carte. Too long of a wait after finishing dessert and coffee until given the bill and again to settle the bill. 35 minutes lost, just sitting there waiting to leave."

"The service is always very friendly and make you feel right at home. The food was very good. We love the crab cakes and mushroom strudel to start and can depend on the main entrees and dessert to be first class. Great romantic atmosphere."

"Food was poor.I had ravioli with broccoli rabe and bok choy. Only 4 raviolis with a ton of cream sauce and hard on the bottom. Bok Choy in 2 large halves impossible to cut, broccoli steamed in a long bunch plopped on top.
