"Food is hit-and-miss. My Staek Tartare was very decent, but other members of my party were dissapointed ( Duck, salad, hanger steak). Service was very mediocre. The restaurant was half empty but is was very hard to get waiter's attention."

"We arrived early so that we could attend a performance. Restaurant was pretty empty, we were taken to a back room totally isolated from the rest of the patrons. This table was also in front of the service area for waiters. While we were entertained by their chatter and complaints, it wasn't where we wanted to be. We asked to be moved and we were instantly accomodated. Service was a bit slow, even though we arrived at 5:15, at 7:15 we had to leave without coffee or dessert. The food was really, really good. Waiters were nice and I'd go back. Just couldn't understand why you would put a party of two in an empty room with many table available in the front. (Especially where this table was located)"

"What a great place. The room is a bit worn but charming. The food (we had skewers, mussels, and steak) was excellent and well prepared. A simple menu, but they do it right. We went on a Monday so the wine is 50% off - an excellent deal and they are knowledgeable about the selection (as well as their food). Great service."

"We went with a group of four for Easter brunch. The food was good. My "Eggs Benedict" with salmon could have done with more salmon. I had a sliver of salmon on each English Muffin and honestly it was barely there. Nice menu selection of Eggs with whatever you want and for the price incl. a Mimosa you can't beat it. They were not huge on the upsells though since we had to ask for coffee and dessert. We may have consumed even more if someone had asked us. Overall a nice pleasant brunch though."

"we arrived before the Les Halles officially opened however, they welcomed us, offered us coffee and were very gracious. The crepes and omelets as well as the coffee was outstanding. We would definitely recommend to others and return there for lunch or dinner as brunch was delicious."

"I just moved back to the US from France, and felt 'at home' in Les Halles. While customers should be aware that there is significant construction going on in the street out front, they should also rest assured that there is ZERO noise from the outside in the restaurant."
