    Excellent food and service. You cannot go wrong at Île Flottante. However, to make sure you fully enjoy your experience, know the following: 1) While the decor is charming and cosy, the acoustics are bad. So even if the place isn’t packed, it gets really noisy. It’s hard to hear what the dedicated waiters are saying. 2) The AC works very well! Bring a sweater.

    This was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. It was such a wonder experience from the food to the service. Everyone was at the top of their game. The tasting menu, was out of this world delicious made with fresh ingredients. The chefs knew how to take what they were working with and deliver something spectacular. The servers were attentive, kind and wonderful. Their knowledge of drink pairings were spot on. Can’t recommend enough.

    It was our forth time dining at Ile Flottante and it was yet another satisfying and lovely evening. Chef Sean Murray Smith never fails to amaze us with his imaginative ingredient combinations and array of flavours that are presented with every dish. It was extra special for us since they offer a vegan tasting menu as well. It isn't everyday that we can find such an exquisite vegan dining experience and it definitely tops the ones we have tried. I highly recommend Ile Flottante to anyone wanting to feel completely satisfied with their meal and wanting to go back again!

    The service at Îles Flottante was flawless- Nicolas was friendly, professional, and made us feel well taken care of. But when you're paying *$500 for two people*, impeccable service alone isn’t enough. The food was underwhelming. Dishes like tuna with lettuce and chicken in bacon sauce tasted like something you'd find at a mid-range bistro, not a fine-dining establishment. The flavors were basic and uninspired, lacking the sophistication and depth you’d expect at this price. Even the ingredients felt ordinary—nothing justified the cost. The wine pairings were fun, but they couldn’t save a meal that felt overpriced and forgettable.
