"This was our second visit. Food is wonderful and interesting. Service both times was outstanding - friendly and helpful. It's a cozy spot and we'll be back again. The dessert waffle is to die for - don't miss it!"

"As always, this neighborhood gem was enjoyable. The food is consistent. The service is vey attentive. The maitre'd were friendly and cordial. The noise level this time was more bearable, probably being seated closer to the kitchen which is just perfect for me. It is always nice to browse the beer selections but I think they need to expand the wine list a little bit. Our server was knowledgeable though in trying to figure out what tastes we were looking for in our wine and he did nail it!"

"While the food was good everyone in our party of 4 thought the waiter had a very condescending attitude and was really off-putting. All wait staff hoevered around and could not remove your plates quickly enough. While for some people that may be indicative of great service I could not help but feel rushed and did not like it at all."

"Mussels from Brussels! (Sorry, had to.) The best thing we had was the mussels in beer and bacon. Seriously. And the Cote du Rhone. I was scraping the last of the broth out with a spoon (bread was a charred mess). The cover steak tasted of smoke and char (while the mussels tasted of bacon) and the carroty thing they served with it was gross (although my dining companion liked it). The short rib was nothing special while he liked the potato side. The frites were good, but the dill in the dill aioli was too dill-y.

I WANT to LOVE this place. I will go back. We have our eye on the charcuterie, and definitely more mussels. The decor brought to mind Blackbird, but better, not so jammed in. Service was EXCELLENT. As were the mussels."

"We ate an intimate and exceedingly enjoyable four hour dinner and never once felt rushed. The service we received was friendly, attentive and accommodating. Once we had our drinks and while we were too busy talking to even look at the menu, our server just politely and inconspicuously stopped by periodically to see if we needed anything. The food was creative and exceptionally good. Being able to share plates makes it a thoroughly enjoyable experience. And, if you save room for dessert, the waffle is remarkably good."

"I had a great experience at Leopold. Service was outstanding, beer list was even better (About 50%-75% Belgian style beers with many from Belgium). Wait staff was very knowledgeable on the food and beer list. Cheese plate had some great cheeses. Portions were just about the right size, big enough to fill you up, not so big that you leave feeling stuffed."

"The cocktails were delicious. We had the chef's week menu, there was 2 of us so we were able to try the entire menu. The fish and ribs were so delicious that we didnt want to share. The fries and cheese were to die for, the smokey cheese was hands down the winner. And the dessert, oh my. The waffle was heavenly and the biscotti was beyond fantastic. Our waiter had a great balance of making sure we were services without being overbearing. I would highly recommend this place. I'd love to have a small party here, maybe for my 30th birthday. If you're looking for a great place to eat, this place is a must. Oh, and I'm definitely a food snob so it speaks volumes that I'm recommending this place."
