"What a shame, the food, drinks, and atmosphere were top rate, but the service was so off it made it an overall bad experience. We had a 830 reservation for four and it seemed as if some of the wait staff had given up on the evening, even though diners continued to arrive and the reastaurant was about 80% full.

Slow to take drink order, one appetizer never arrived, butter came at the start of dinner and the accompanig bread came halfway through the meal, after asking twice. Any request of the staff seemed as if we were bothering them. Given the prices, I wouldn't take the risk to return."

"We enjoyed a drink at the bar before and after dinner as well as enjoying a fantastic 3 course meal. Our server was friendly and helpful in choosing wine and food. The food was absolutely delicious! I am excited about going back on a return visit to Richmond!"

"Our whole experience was amazing and well worth it. The service was superb and the food was delicious. Many great wine choices and cocktail list. My son and I felt very relaxed and our waiter was most knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Will definitely dine there again!"

"Greatly enjoyed my first visit to Lemaire. The service was exceptional! Our waiter was engaging, informative, and paced the meal perfectly. The food was also very good using very interesting combinations of starches and vegetables with the entres. The salmon topped with pistachio with polenta and brussel sprouts was exceptional. The only disappointment was the pecan tart which was over cooked and the cinnamon ice cream was not that flavorful. I couldn't drink, but the bar menu was very impressive with 2 mint Julep offerings, my personal favorite and relatively rare offering. I'll be back for both the bar and the food."

"We enjoyed our evening at Lemaire. Our waiter arrived promptly and helped us select a very good wine. Menu had a number interesting choices (both of our choices were very tasty) and we appreciated not having plates piled high with food."
