We and several other groups were in town for a conference and LTK is close to the convention center. Unfortunately, each time the music was turned down, within minutes it was back up louder than before. We and several other groups finished our (weekday) meetings there that first evening, but none of us would not return for the balance of the week. Food was good, but the management of the restairant needs to be more attentive to the type of customer they might have on particular nights. We were seated promptly and at a nicely located table with a view of the outside. Since we wanted to eat lightly, we started with oysters, which we shared, followed by the day's special of a crab cake, scallops and shrimp with arugala, which we also planned to share. When it came we were very pleased that it had been split in the kitchen, even to splitting the crab cake and adding a shrimp to make the splitting come out even, and separately plated. Our server was also very attentive and helpful.

We went early (4:00pm reservations) so it was fairly quiet. The service was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The waitress did pour the wine wrong (didn't let the head of the table taste it before pouring glasses for the rest, did not cut the foil on the neck, etc) but nothing that was truly awful. The food was really amazing and the menu was small but has interesting foods that were well executed. I must say that it's extremely convenient for that with the public parking lot right next to the restaurant. Made a reservation and our very nice table for 5 was ready early. The waiter was exteremly attentive, refilling our water glasses often. The food was exactly what we expected - nothing more or less. Except that when it finally arrived, my banana cream pie was quite delicious. (It didn't appear on the menu but I had seen it on the online menu.) Because we had to ask for it after waiting what seemed like quite a while, our watiter apologized and did not charge us for it. VERY happy we did! They had just changed over to new menu. I highly recommend the popcorn shrimp and muscles as an appetizer. TO DIE FOR! Everyone grabbed something different off the menu and were all thoroughly impressed (there were 6 of us). Very different flavors and tons of options. Service went quick and had some awesome sangria! Place was hopping. Arrived early had a drink and had to wait a little longer, past reservation time. Manager apologized and sent us free appetizers (delicious). Drinks and meal were fantastic. The restaurant called the day of our reservation to confirm, and we were able to specify that a quieter seating area would be great. They accomodated us on the covered, heated patio, and we were very pleased. The service was attentive but not overbearing, cocktails were great. We were mixed generations, and all were pleased. The mussels were amazing,as were the fried oysters and calimari. A great evening all around.
