The only thing is that I wish some of the protions were smaller. I had the Nutty Salmon and would have been just as happy with only one of the salmon portions and perhaps 3 or 4 of the ravioli on my dish. Perhaps Leal SeaFoods could consider have smaller portions and perhaps cutting the price just slightly to allow for the smaller portions. If this was the case, then I would have room for dessert. I also think the dessert portions are too large. I guess we could share a dessert, but we have different tastes in desserts and appetizers so if they were smaller, we could each pick one. Normally what happens is I go without an appetizer and my partner goes without dessert. If there was a complaint, and it was shared by all at our table, it would be the presentation of the food...very bland, very plain, uninspiring. Example, one of the fish dishes came with a plain piece of fish on tip of a round blob of mashed potatoes. When it was delivered, all the members of our party laughed out loud, then the same happend with almost all of the dishes. The gluten-free rolls were good, but my regular rolls were delicious. I had the crabcakes and thought they were excellent. The atmosphere was attractive and comfortable. I also had an expresso martini that was yummy! R3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was my 1st experienceThis was my 1st experience at L.S. that was NOT "EXCELLENT". I ordered the Steel Head Trout and partner had the Hake. Both dishes were not up to par. Too much topping on both. Brussel sprouts were burnt and the potatoes were mostly cheese.
We were both very disappointed in the calamari. The breading was too thick and we spent time removing the breading in order to taste the calamari. The salad was served with old looking arugula.
However, we were very happy with the service ..."Cortney" provided excellent service.
Also, we always find the alcohol offerings wonderfully varied and the wine is affordable.

I was able to get a reservation w/o a problem within 15 minutes of the time I wanted. We had a Caesar dinner salad, cup of chowder, the Crabcake combo, and the Almond Salmon. Everything was wonderful. The chowder was piping hot, the combo's hot items were hot, while the plate and salad were chilled. The service was good. The wait staff was attentive, the runners were prompt and everything came out about what you would expect. Shared the key lime pie for dessert.
