The Sancerre was excellent and reasonably priced. Also, they should have asked if I wanted sunflower seeds on my salad, which was otherwise very good. My parents don't speak much English and she was very accomodating. The food was hot and good, and had many options for those that do not eat too much.

We did tell our waitress about the birthday - and she added a candle to the dessert! The food was as good as you'd expect, and the selection of wines and beers is better than it used to be. Possibly because of Mothers' Day, the service was slower than I would have expected from previous visits.

The ambiance is pleasing, airy, comfortable, classy. Early on a Saturday (6:30 pm), we had no difficulty hearing each other talk. All staff members were gracious, helpful. We were seated quickly (we had a reservation) despite the crowd. The staff were very welcoming. The food was expertly prepared and so yummy (try the tuna burger!). However, there services was very slow. We were seated for at least 10 minutes before the waitstaff took our order for drinks, and by then we knew our meal orders. Another 10 minutes before bread arrived. Then several minutes before the drinks came. Our entrees arrived together (good). The prices and portions are reasonable. Lunch was 90 minutes due to the slow service. The staff was very accommodating and when we arrived at the restaurant they were exceptional. We were greeted warmly at the door and were seated at a large and comfortable table. They knew that some of us had been on the road for awhile and promptly brought us our drinks as well as a complimentary amuse-bouche which was lovely! Although the restaurant was quite busy all the staff were attentive and courteous to our needs. Our orders were taken in a timely fashion but not so that we felt rushed. When the food arrived it was delicious!! Everyone in my party thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The menu is good (if pricey). The service is prompt.
