I found the food to be very good, service prompt and the staff all very courteous. The most amazing thing is that even with the tremendous crowds, everything was well organized and the food delivery time was excellent. Kudos to the management and staff for running a tight ship. The first thing my wife asked me was "would you go back". We were both on the same wavelength with that. We will return

We enjoyed eating here, with fresh fish, yummy rolls, good service and nice ambiance. However, it is very expensive. and that would make me hesitate to come here again. I definitely recommend making reservations, since that enabled us to get a table right away, whereas there was a crowd of people when we left who were waiting for their tables.

We went when the restaurant was packed - and the service was nice, but really slow. Raw bar must have been under-staffed - we got our oysters long after some of us had clam chowder. Just be patient, enjoy your company and eventually good food will be served.

We used to eat quite often at LSF, but now not so much so. The food is good but... we feel the prices have gotten too high for a chain restaurant. We now only come on special occasions rather than a normal night out. At these prices, other places offer more value in this regard for casual dining such as... Burtons.

Our server, Carol, was wonderful and painted the full landscape for our meal, from start to finish. The oysters on the half shell were fabulous, the clam chowder was perfect, the lobster was tender and succulent, and the cereamy corn casserole was to die for. Drinks were exceptional, and even the bread was the best! $$$ well worth the memory of this fine meal. We will return!

Legal Sea Foods is a much-treasured MA seafood chain. The food is always fresh and the service is always helpful, regardless of which one you visit. The Burlington Mall, however, particularly on a rainy Saturday, is a zoo and finding parking near the restaurant is always challenging. I like the restaurant but can't stand the Mall--no indictment of Legal Sea Foods.

Love Legal Seafood. Have never once had a bad or even mediocre experience and we go there every time we come to Burlington on business - which is roughly 10 times per calendar year. Food is consistent and delicious. Service is always spot-on. Wine list is carefully curated. Loved the flight of Sauvignon Blancs last night. We always start with raw oysters and the choice is impressive. One of my favourite places. In fact this trip we had 2 nights in Burlington and went to Legal twice!

We have been to this Legal Seafood several times, but it has been years since we were there. It has been remodeled and is amazing, it now has a warmer ambiance. It is nice to have different restaurant choices at a mall vs. the standard "food courts." The service was a bit slow, but we were visiting with a friend from the West coast, so time wasn't a huge factor. One person ordered an entree that had lobster, the server came over and placed a bib on our friend without asking if he wanted one. The server was nice, but was not as attentive as we would have liked - requested refills for our water glasses several times, but that never happened. The food was very good, but we probably won't visit this location for a while (it's at a mall).

Special occasion lunch consisting of five long term octogenarians friends, I one of five. Lobster roll got rave reviews, however, the onion strings ordered by the same guest were presented cold. Sever did bring a fresh hot batch. Jambalia also got very reviews; the seafood casarole seem a little small but the guest said it was good and ate it all. I, and the last guest were presented with baked potatoes that were not thoroughly baked which left them not palatable. We could not enjoy them. My seaweed salad was good. my plank seared fish filet was a smaller serving than expected, thin end overcooked, dry and not edible, other end not much better than supermarket quality. The last guest was also felt her fish was not up to Legal standard.

My boyfriend and I come here very frequently because we really love the food.Lately I was diagnosed with a gluten allergy, and it made me love LSF all the more for their great options. However, service needs to be improved. Not once have we received good service here.Nearly every time the hosts ignore the comments for a GF menu, and the waitress is never aware, which leads to me being brought regular rolls. My biggest complaint is we always feel rushed. Each time our main course is brought out before we finish our appetizer or just as we finish. We have also had the waitress bring the check during our main course, assuming we don't want anything else.We pay very good money to eat here. For the two of us we always spend over $100 yet get poor service.

I have been to four different locations of legal seafood--the last one was Kendall Square which was excellent. The others (Prudential and Legacy Place) were very good. This was a stark contrast, largely because of the freshness of the fish. I had cioppino--the lobster tasted frozen and the broth was largely tasteless. Shrimp on two entrees were small and shriveled. Fried clams were greasy, as if they had sat under a heat lamp too long. At least the bread was good! All four of us agreed that our meals were nothing special. It was very busy which may offer some explanation--perhaps they wanted to get food out quickly without tasting it.

I went to this location last night and was very disappointed. My clams were overcooked. My wife's entrée was 40 minutes late. Service was horrendous. Our server forgot our bread, my drink, butter, water and put in the wrong order. She explained that they were very busy because the restaurant had a large group last night. Couple sitting next to us finally received their dinner just as we were leaving. Manager brought over the butter after my wife requested three times. I understand restaurants can get busy with large groups and can't service groups of two, but then they should close down for the night and focus on the large group. BTW the Clam Chowder was excellent. Unfortunately our experience was downhill from there.

Len was our server. In the beginning I thought maybe there was a disconnect, but I realize he pushes for strict professionalism. I thought it was notable when I asked for a spoon to twirl my pasta, and he brought it, holding it with a napkin. That was classy. The lemon sorbet and crab cake were outstanding- fave parts of the meal. My only complaint is for a 9pm reservation, it was DEAD, on a saturday evening. So weird to not see such a good restaurant JUMPING on a saturday evening!

We enjoyed wonderful service on a recent date night at Legal Sea Foods, Burlington. We aren't big drinkers, but there is a terrific selection of wines by the glass. We enjoyed a Sancerre and a Vouvray with main meals of Grilled Trout and Grilled Bluefish. Everything was perfect including sides of Jalapeño Polenta, Seaweed Salad, and Broccoli. Our spinach and artichoke dip appetizer left us no room for dessert but I was eyeing the Boston Cream Pie. We will be back!

Went to Legal Seafood for a business dinner. We got a quiet area back left so we could easily talk. Dinner was great and the service was even better. I would recommend Legal Seafood. Generally I would say the experience was outstanding but I reserve that for something truly unusual so I gave it a "very good".

We were seated promptly. Server was nice, game us a chance to decide on menu, we ordered a cesear salad and our entrees. We received our salad and within five minutes of getting salad- our entrees, did not have time to finish salad, as our meals were hot when they arrived, did not want them to go back to warmer. It was a rushed situation and we went away disappointed! Did not order dessert even though we usually do.

Yes, the seafood is always very good. But I have been vegetarian for several years now and was disappointed with their one vegetarian option. Wish they would put some more effort into that dish. I should have just ordered a bunch of side dishes. That might have been the tastier option. But the rest of my party loved their fish! Not of fan of their red sangria. I love sweet drinks, but this version was too sweet.
