We were told that they were out of lobster. It was my wife's birthday and she always hot a lobster for her birthday. Well, the staff was aware of her disappointment and when they had a party cancel that had pre-ordered a lobster they immediately asked if she would like to have it, even though we had already ordered something different. The food is always better than I expect it to be and prepared without butter if you ask. The service was excellent. Food is fresh, superb and serverd by a truly knowledgeable wait staff. The cioppino was some what disapointing due to the addition of the calamari in the stew
which was tough (overcooked) they should elimate this from the receipe and add more scallops instead.
The 1 3/4 Lb. lobster was moist, juicy, plump and truly a nice tasting cold water
