A word from Legal Harborside – Floor 2 Dining Room

The second floor dining room at Legal Harborside offers a focused menu of cuisine prepared with sensible creativity for celebratory eating and private dining events. Chefs Robert Fathman and Rich Vellante helm the kitchen. Complementing the dinner menu is an aperitif cocktail list and a unique… selection of artisan wines, each produced from a specific terroir representing some of the world’s most classic regions, from family-owned vineyards. Each of the vintages is unique to Legal Harborside within Massachusetts. The design of the restaurant takes full advantage of the harbor view and is reminiscent of a ship’s dining room, with a curved rosewood ceiling and glossy black columns inspired by the mast of a ship that anchor the space. A lounge off the grand spiral staircase and two oceanfront rooms, with recessing doors for privacy, are available for special events. An intimate patio with outdoor fireplace offers dining and drinks in-season. Continued

"For the price you pay for the food, the service could have been a little better. The waiter never brought us any bread before dinner was served. Also a couple people in our party ordered coffee after dinner and it was luke warm to almost cold. Other than that, the place was pretty good, but if they want the 5 star reputation, they need to have 5 star wait service as well..."

"Menu, so, so. Nothing great. Presentation and taste, same. Disappointed overall. Plus without suggestions for parking we got hit for $45. and the person in the booth was arrogant at best. I think your other places are great and this is good, not great."
