LeeI make it a point to visitI make it a point to visit as many celebrity chefs as I can when I travel, and this was an absolute high point of my culinary experiences. I do consider myself a foodie but am absolutely drawn to simple, amazing food....so this was the perfect marriage! It was well worth the 1 1/2 hour drive from buffalo to Toronto! The best service I can remember ever having! Beyond spectacular, I can't rave enough11/3/2013 12:00:00 AMCelebrated my birthday hereCelebrated my birthday here with my husband. We had heard it was one of the best restaurants in Toronto, and I am pleased to say it lived up to the hype. The hot and sour soup was delicious and complex - fried sliced shallots added a delightful texture and gave a decidedly upscale feel to this normally mundane dish.
Closed off the meal with a dessert that was to die for - French and Chinese Tong Yuen. The warm rice dumplings were filled with gooey rich chocolate.
For drinks we had the Burnt Orange Manhattan and the Lee Lemonade to start, and a reasonably priced bottle of sake with the meal.8/3/2013 12:00:00 AMIn one word, unbelievable. In one word, unbelievable. I'm a repeat customer and still am blown away by the delicious and flavoured layered food....just delicious. The service is second to none, completely professional and menu knowlegeable .. a definite 5 out 5 experience ... again.
Bill Reynolds6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMNever Disappointed!!We have eaten at Lee a number of times and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, the service is excellent, and the price is reasonable. The signature cole slaw is outstanding!!6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Singapore Coleslaw isThe Singapore Coleslaw is awesome. The chicken curry, crab cakes and braised beef were all just okay, but I would return for the coleslaw alone. Wonderful atmosphere can be noisy at peak dinner hours, but an early dinner at 5:30pm, the noise is minimal to none.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGo for Singapore Slaw!!I'm not really good at reviews but if you are thinking about going there, just give it a try and have the Singapore Slaw... it's the best thing on the menu and THE item that is worth it all... The rest was pretty good but in my opinion, not breathtaking.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMLee ReviewVery clean and beautiful restaurant. The staff were very attentive and helpful in answering questions and making suggestions. The food was terrific, this place was recommended by a friend who had attended winterlicious. We noticed Chef Lee checking in on the dining room and even took a photo with some patrons. Definitely a person who cares about the way the place is run front and back. The ambiance was nice, we were comfortable as a couple and noticed some groups of 6 and 8 having a good time as well.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing!!I took my wife here to celebrate a new job promotion. Not only was the food out if this world but the ambiance was just what I was looking for. The wait staff was extremely knowledgable and all helped as the night progressed. Each staff member was also very polite throughout the evening and made us feel right at home. I would absolutely recommend Lee to anyone as it is worth every penny!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMMost Unique Food in Toronto!!This is the best food I've had in Toronto. Unique dishes with ingredients I would never think of putting together but amazing taste! I've told so many folks at work about this restaurant now. I work a few blocks away but just found out about it recently and after the first time, I'm now a fan!5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMstellar foodHands down the best dining experience I have had in years.
