  • "It was Thanksgiving family stlye so I knew it wouldn't be 5 stars. It was a group seating after drinks were ordered the serving started. We were seates second in a large room of several hundred but , served dead last. That was wierd.Food was not quite warm enough at that point. I got the bill and was nicked $15.00 for a glass of so so red wine and wacked a full 20% tip for a table of 5. Won't be going back for Thanksgiving. Mark"

  • "We loved our Thanksgiving dinner here! Service was exceptional. Taking home the leftovers made it even better. Open Table did not alert us to the fact that even though we were a party of 2 we would be required to party of 4. Worked out fine though...more leftovers!"

  • "The special Christmas dinner was superb. Food excellent. Staff a bit busy but not really a problem. Worth the price."

  • "Good food and service. Long buffet lines at times created a wait. With the set up of the room and the buffet lines, it was difficult at times to get to our table."

  • "This was our first visit to Lebbie Lebkicher's. I had wanted to find a restaurant halfway between Washington, DC, and NE Pa. to meet my parents in the middle for Thanksgiving. We were IMPRESSED with the excellent service from the initial phone calls until we left the facility after our dinner. Thank you for the spirit of excellence with which you served us!"

  • "The first time we were even at Hershey Lodge was for our Christmas dinner at Lebbie Lebkichers. Loved the price for such an important dinner. I really enjoyed the balsamic dressing and the various cheeses. I also realy enjoyed the yummy salmon. Very nice. Desserts were decedent and wonderful. The service was great as well. Definitely will be back!"

  • "Not very organized. We had a Christmas Buffet and it was so packed in the place that you couldnt help but bump into people sitting at their tables while you were getting your food. The food itself was fair but not worth the $25 per person plus drinks and tip. It was luke warm and many of the dishes were empty on the buffet. The waiter however was excellent. I would not return."

  • "I have been to this holiday event for a few years now. This last year (2009) did not seem to be as good food wise or performance wise as in other years. The 'carolers' prior to the dinner were not in "old attire as in days of yore".........as in other years. This year's presentation lacked the finese and creativity of 'days gone by'........and the 'good old memories'. I do not know if I'll come again next year."

  • "The food was good and the service was great. the dessert was exceptional. The show, however, could use slower pace at times."

  • "Very nice! The food and the performance were outstanding. We all had a great time!"

  • "Our outing was a very nice experience! The main course was wonderful, but the appetizers could have been more creative - the kids expected hot chocolate to be the hot beverage on the table and it turned out to be hot cider - this was disappointing. You expect chocolate when in Hershey! This was not our first trip to the Hershey Lodge for Christmas and it turned out to be the same show from 2 previous years - you would think they would change it year to year to bring people back. Overall, Hershey is always a great place to visit and would recommend!"

  • "I think the experience was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone. The food was great, the service was great and the entertainment was outstanding."

  • "The show was fine, the food was good but the service is fair to poor. While all the other tables had been served their salad dishes we sat there with nothing on our plates. One of the other couples finally stopped a served and asked if we could be served. By that time the other tables were already being cleared. We were offered an apology but with only 18 tables we surely should have been noticed. Beyond this issue everything else was good."

  • "Don't get the buffet. Over priced and you wait about 20 minutes for an omelet which they only have mushrooms, tomatoes and peppers. Also cheese. The scrambled eggs had no flavor and the french toast was soggy. I should have ordered off the menu. The waitress was disinterested in serving us and when she brought the bill she charged us for 4 adult meals and there was obviously one party member under 12. It took a long time to get the bill and then we had to wait for her to come back and correct it."

  • "We ate breakfast 2 times during our stay. Food arrived quickly, was hot, and very good. Service wonderful."

  • "Its good for families. But for the same price you can have breakfast in the circular dining room at the Hotel Hershey. Noisy, cafeteria atmosphere. Nothing special. I will not be returning."

  • "It was very convenient to be able to reserve a table on a busy Valentine's Day evening without waiting until the next day when the place opened. Thanks OpenTable!"

  • "everything was good except receiving a slight steam burn on the buffet line"

  • "At the Hershey Lodge, this is the only sit-down restaurant open for breakfast. The food is adequate...service was terrific. Pricey menu, really, for breakfast...especially when there is a Friendly's restaurant right across the street."

  • "I ate the breakfast buffet on November 2, 2008 with my two children ages 7 and 10, my husband and father. All of us found something we like, especially my picky 10 year old. The food was very fresh and tasty. I would have given it 5 stars if they had oatmeal, since I love hot oatmeal in the morning. The omelet station was fantastic and the best I had at a buffet. I thought the price was a bit much for children though. I was charged $14 for my 10 year old, who only ate a bagel with some chocolate chips and a glass of milk. Overall a very nice place to eat in Hershey, but my favorite in the area is still Millers Buffet in Lancaster."

  • "There wasn't a table reserved for us upon arrival. When I gave the host our name, he hadn't a clue as to what I was talking about. The restaurant was in the lodge, where we stayed so we were lucky to arrive when we did, as it was very crowded. Otherwise, reservation or not, we would have had to wait until a table was available. The food was great though."

  • "Only experienced Breakfast buffet...food was good ....service was good also...but was extremely crowded and noisy because of all the children...tables much too close to each other...otherwise not a totally bad experience....would probably go again."

  • "A little on the pricey side for breakfast but well worth it. It is a wonderful all you can eat buffet in the Hershey Lodge. Has a wonderful, friendly, "homey" atmosphere. Will definitely be going back."

  • "This was a mediocre breakfast buffet that did not warrant it's price of $16.95 per person. The French toast was plain white bread (ugh!) and the breakfast enchilada rather chewy and unappealing."

  • "The food was very good and the server was very friendly and helpful. Wish they have little more food. It would be nice to have real brunch buffet everyday at real reasonable price. Kids should be free age 12 and under if with two paying adults."
    Dined on 7/5/2008
  • "A little pricey for breakfast, but 3 and under are free which is good. My 5 year old did not eat enough for her $8.95 charge, but overall a nice place with plenty of choices for everyone. We returned that same night for the dinner buffet which was very good as well."

  • "After requesting reservations for lunch for our anniversary (we have never eaten there before) we were told our reservations were for 11 am through Open Table. Ok, we can go to lunch early. So we arrived around 1055 to be met by a very rude hostess who said they didn't take reservations and that they closed in 5 minutes. Terrible experience through Open Table for not researching the restaurant and terrible experience from the host staff."
