The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for a lunch date. While they lost 20 seats, it is now not nearly as crowded for the diners, and is less noisy. They had a special brunch on Mother's Day, $35 per person for unlimited small plates from a special menu. It was great to make a meal out of the small plates, and every one of them was really good. I expected them to be very crowded since they always were in the past, but to my surprise there were many open tables. We had ordered two fish, but only one arrived. The restaurant insisted on bringing something in the interim, and also sent us a complimentary dessert. Food delicious, especially salmon. It is much brighter with the white stone arched look, without the feeling of being at Grand Central Station. Both the food and the wine/beer selections were excellent, and the waiter was extremely patient in going through the menu with our semi-uninitiated group. It was a busy night and the place was packed. We have been there many times. It was suggested that we do a family style priced fixed dinner. Unfortunately, this did not highlight the amazing food at LebaneseTaverna. 2 of the ten were not delighted with the food. However, the majority liked it. My suggestion dine with a smaller group or check that the family style menu pleases all.
