A word from Lebanese Taverna - Tysons Galleria
Lebanese Taverna creates an environment where good food is enjoyed in good company. Each restaurant is a "home away from home," even though the food and ambiance are from across the globe. Whether you are visiting for the first time, the twentieth, or have been coming to a Lebanese Taverna for over 29 years, you will feel welcomed and like a member of the family. The atmosphere is bustling and each of the restaurants has its own design and slightly different flavors. That is because the food is made fresh.Continued

  • "Great work lunch, took a while but it was expected. You must try the hummus trio!"

  • "National quality, professional restaurant that's a local small business. Love it. Great for bringing out-of-town visitors who can experience a tasty meal they can't back home."
    Dined on 3/29/2014
  • "I say this every time, but it is true, so Leb Tav is on of my favorite restaurants. The food is always delicious and the service is friendly and attentive. On this trip I ordered the Ouzi, which is SO GOOD!"
    Dined on 3/24/2014
  • "Awesome restaurant, unfortunately service was horrible this time but normally it is really good."
    Dined on 3/22/2014
  • "I have been to several Lebanese Taverna restaurants. The food is consistently delicious, atmosphere welcoming and calm and the service is exceptional. You feel like you are being welcomed to the family every time. Do not miss the hummus it is the best I have ever tried. I've tried almost everything on the menu over the years and it never disappoints. From vegeterians to meat or fish lovers, everyone can find something they love."
    Dined on 3/22/2014
  • "Consistently good food and service. I always visit when in the DC area."
    Dined on 3/21/2014
  • "The menu is not nearly as extensive as in the past and many "signature" dishes are missing. The quality of the food has suffered as well. It used to be our "go to" restaurant for special occasions and when guests were visiting. Now it's just another run-of-the-mill Middle Eastern restaurant with high prices. Very disappointing."

  • "Had a great time at this place, our first time here and we loved it!"

  • "Enjoyed the food and so did the kids. It is very vegetarian friendly. Bread is warm and a nice plus for the meal. Will definitely attend again."

  • "The food was very good. The roasted olives and bread were exceptional. The service was professional. I don't know much about Lebanese food but enjoyed it all."
    Dined on 2/18/2014
  • "Food was so so. I've had better but I think it may be regional Lebanese cuisine differences. I am 100% Lebanese but the food just did not seem the same as what I was raised on. So to that end, I was disappointed. But overall, it was a good dinner."

  • "First time to Lebanese Taverna but it was a perfect experience. I loved walking in and being immediatley seated. The restaurant had a nice ambience despite being inside Tyson's Corner mall. Every I tasted was delicious and I'm anxious to go back. Great dining experience! Loved the chicken Fatteh and would happily order that again. Wonderful combination of flavors!"

  • "We normally love Lebanese Taverna and go there frequently, however, their Valentine's Day preset menu was disappointing. The service was terrible and the preset menu items were not good at all. It was very expensive and we left disappointed. I will never go there for a special event again. I"

  • "The food was delicious , I was able to try hot and cold appetizers I've never had before. And the wine that was chosen to pair with the meal was quite good. I was very pleased with the quality ."
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "We are normally big fans of here and is our go-to place for celebrating special occasions. However, on this day, the service was bad and the food just okay. We normally get the same dish between my wife and I and when the dish came my wife got different items on her plate compared to mine. When we brought this to the attention of the waitress, this (along with other requests made to her during the meal) was met with stares and indifference. A disappointing evening."

  • "Lebanese Taverna used to be one of my favorite restuarants in the Tysons area - good food, consistent quality, good service and moderately priced. I don't feel that it is any of those anymore. I have dined there two times in the last two months and can't say that I recommend it. There are other good choices for Lebanese food in the area. Lebanese Taverna needs pay attention!"

  • "Food taste and quality was very good but wait time in between courses was exceedingly long."
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "We have been going to Lebanese Taverna for years - we started going when it first opened in Arlington. This is our second visit recently to the Tysons' location, and we were disappointed to note that the food was not served hot again - we had to return it the last time but hesitated to do so this time because it was "warm" enough. Also the lamb sharat used to have more lemon in the sauce and now it is bland. The food is good quality and not overpriced. The service was excellent but the noise level between 6.30 - 7.30 on a Sunday night was awful. The restaurant attracts Lebanese families who like to dine at one table together, hence the noise level. Will try some new restaurants in the coming weeks but will not be in a hurry to return to LT."

  • "everything was authentic and delicious - a feast for the eyes as well as the palate! We all loved our meals. Great place for a business lunch as the acoustics are pretty good too."
    Dined on 2/5/2014
  • "It have eaten at this restaurant group for years. I have noticed the quality of the food has dropped since it has expanded. The bread was hard and crunchy versus soft and warm. Our server told us it was the new oven. The chicken was to dry and almost crisp. The prices have gone up and the portions smaller. Perhaps the original location in DC is still great. I'm not giving up on them, just this location."

  • "This was our 4th visit at Lebanese Taverna and once again it did not disappoint us. This time I ordered the Bouillabaisse as my main dish which has chunks of fish, fresh shrimps, and tender squid rings. The broth has the right consistency, not to thick nor soupy. You can clearly taste the fresh tomatoes and herbs and is not salty at all. For the dessert, we chose the molten chocolate Turkish coffee cake which is wickedly good. There is no doubt in my mind that we will again come back soon to try their other dishes."
    Dined on 1/30/2014
  • "Nice menu selection. Good service although I felt rushed as table was being cleared a little quickly. I had the vegetarian sampler which was good but not notable. I have good Indian closer to me and I don't think this is worth a special trip"
    Dined on 1/26/2014
  • "This was our first time there and we weren't disappointed. We were a party of 6 and promptly seated even though we weren't all there at our reservation time. Waiter was friendly and efficient. Menu was diverse enough to accommodate a vegetarian and a somewhat non adventurous eater. I will come back again to work my way through the menu."
    Dined on 1/25/2014
  • "Great dinner, excellent service. Lively patrons. Only difficulty is to hear others our to communicate without having to raise one's voice. Very boisterous in there....but festive!"
    Dined on 1/23/2014
  • "We always love the food here - my wife is a vegetarian and I am definitely not, but LT has plenty for us to enjoy and share together."
    Dined on 1/24/2014
  • "A friend of mine and I go to this restaurant at least once a month for our catch-up. I like that the staff are usually very attentive (even when packed) and do not try to rush you - these catch-ups with my friend usually last 2+ hours! Nine times out of ten we usually order the fatteh and always with special requests (half chicken/half eggplant, hold the pita chips, more pomegranates, etc etc). You would think the kitchen would get tired of us but I like that the restaurant caters to their customers in that fashion. The wine list is not extensive but what they do have is enjoyable. It's a monthly staple in my restaurant repertoire!"
    Dined on 1/15/2014
  • "I ordered Fatteh, a dish of eggplant, chick peas, pine nuts, yogurt, with fried pita chips. 75% of the dish was chips! And they were burnt and incredibly oil-drenched. The others were less than thrilled, but satisfied. Just not special."
    Dined on 1/15/2014
  • "My friend and I arrived in time to take advantage of the happy hour specials on wine and appetizers. We got to try several great items, all of which were good. The wine was very good as well Sitting in the bar area was very nice, and quite enough that we could have a conversation. Tomorrow I'm meeting a friend for lunch at the Pentagon Row restaurant."

  • "this location, unfortuntely, has fallen to the smaller menu with smaller portions as most fo the other locations has. the entrees no longer are meals, just small groups of messa or smaller portions all on the same plate. my wife and i have been shwarma (sp?) fans since first finding it. but you can no longer order it as a dinner. instead it comes as a small 1/4 of a messa spread with a bad salad and huge amount of hommos. the hommos continues to stand out, but after sharing the 3 hommos combo appitizer, it was a waste. perhaps thats why they try to fill you up on bread? still tasty, but we came for the meat...and were greatly dissappointed."

  • "Went there for the New Year's Eve . The Food was excellent . The waiters and the DJ were very nice . The belly dancer was Ok . I personnaly prefer a middle eastern one since they are the best !"

  • "Very well run family restaurant. Tried and true. Friendly and accommodating staff and outstanding Middle Eastern food."
    Dined on 1/3/2014
  • "This restaurant is always good, but their New Year''s Eve program is beautifully done in every way - food, service, entertainment, dancing, music, hats, noisemakers, and a midnight toast, all very smoothly done. Wonderful varied small plates were brought to the table in a continuous stream all evening and the music never stopped. We loved it."
    Dined on 12/31/2013
  • "Great food, great ambience ang great service. I will definitely come back."

  • "There was a special mezza menu for NYE"s, where they brought plates of food to the table. Great idea and great food. Also had a DJ and a belly dancer. Fun night."
    Dined on 12/31/2013
  • "My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner on New Years Eve. The service was exceptional and the food was wonderful. Being a busy new years eve, we figured that we would have to wait to get in and service would be slower than usual, but that was certainly not the case. The dining experience surpassed our expectations for the evening."
    Dined on 12/31/2013
  • "I frequently dine at Lebanese Taverna for over 20 years, and recommend it to all my friends, and will continue to do so. I also attended 2012 new years eve party with my family and friends and was very pleased. However this year the party lacked to match last year's entertainment energy and quality, as well as the spirit of the midnight toast. When you put a show together, you must top it the second time around or at least match it. Food is always exceptional and plentiful."

  • "It was a very nice evening for the 4 of us. The food was plentiful, the service was great."
    Dined on 12/31/2013
  • "We went for the Holidays for an early dinner and reservations were made and we got a nice table. One of guests had a problem with his leg and we got a very nice table that he really enjoyed the food. My friends are vegetarian and they found a big variety of vegetarian items on the menu. The menu is outstanding, catering to sophisticated Mediterranean/vegetarian patrons. Our selections were excellent. It was worth the wait to get the food, enjoying the humus with their special Lebanese bread. We enjoyed very much our dessert which was a delicious bread pudding Mediterranean style and pistachio ice cream on the side. Restaurant ambiance as well as service is also very good."
