See you soon!6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother Great Dining Experience"Madame" provides a personal touch to Le Yaca recommending the specials and ensuring customers are satisfied with their meals. Food was excellent. We think Le Yaca holds its own against many of the great restaurants in New York and Baltimore and it has gotten better over the years.6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMThe perfect lunch! As always, we had a lovely lunch and good service in a relaxed and quiet atmosphere that is perfect for conversation.6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMexcellentExcellent food, service, and wine. Would highly recommend it.6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat foodAll was outstanding except the scallops were overcooked.6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMLa Yaca continues to be worthLa Yaca continues to be worth the trip to Williamsburg. The service is impeccable and the three course lunch is always delicious ,healthy, and memorable.6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner at La YacaLa Yaca's atmosphere is romantic with the separate dining areas clustered throughout. Their dining chairs are so comfortable, and the fresh wild flowers were a lovely touch to the evening's elegant dining experience. Our waiter couldn't have made our evening more special. You will NOT be disappointed with the chef's masterpieces. We shared escargot, and the butter-pesto-garlic sauce was perfect for dipping the extraordinary french bread into. The chilled watermelon-cantalope soup was so refreshing, the beef medallion and shelled lobster tail were cooked to perfection, and I loved the light lemon mousse with fresh berries and raspberry sauce. Thanks for a truly unforgettable evening.6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Sunday BrunchWe had a special occasion and our son gave us a gift certificate for Le Yaca because he knows that we enjoy dining there. We arrived just as a group of 70 were assembling for a birthday party. We and others were seated in smaller rooms. The food and service were not impacted by the large group. Many restaurants that would have been a disaster, but not Le Yaca. We always enjoy our visits there.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMMost of the dishes were excellentMost of the dishes were excellent (fish, duck, crab cake); the others just very good (scallops, oysters, salmon appetizer; Grand Marnier souffle).6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMEveryone will love....This restaurant was truely amazing. The food and wine menus were great; we had trouble deciding what to get because everything looked so good. We loved that the owner came around and personally told us the specials and made sure our dining experience was exceeding out expectations. I recommend this to anyone!!!6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food but priceyI've only been here a couple of times and had fanatstic meals each time. The steak was butter soft like I've never had before but their prices keep me from being a more regular customer.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMCulinary TreasureWonderful food, excellent service, in a relaxed and refined atmosphere. One of the best French Restaurants that we have had the pleasure of dining in.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMI found this restaurant onI found this restaurant on line prior to going to Williamsburg. We enjoyed everything about it. The food was wonderful, service was attentive, atmosphere wonderful and the 3-course menu offering excellent. We will definitely return.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Value and ServiceLe Yaca is a classic French restaurant with terrific food and service to match. The atmosphere is sophisticated and classic. Try the lunch and dinner specials which are a bargain. House wines are fairly priced and excellent. Splurge on a Grand Marnier soufflé - it is excellent.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of our favorite restaurants!Le Yaca never fails to impress with it's wonderful food and lovely ambiance!5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMOn par with Americas finestI travel around North America and have eaten at many wonderful, high-end restaraunts. I don't know why we haven't been to Le Yaca after living in Williamsburg for 17. The food is outstanding and the price for the quality is quite reasonable. We had fresh fish that cooked to perfection, and a steak that was delicious. You won't be disappointed here!5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways GreatThe suggested lunch courses are always great with the suggested wine pairings.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGem in Williamsburg, VAMy husband & I went on a weekend getaway to Williamsburg and we were fortunate enough to find this lovely French restaurant. The design of the restaurant is classic and inviting. We had a choice to order a la carte or from a pre-fixe menu, and we chose pre-fixe for price & selection. My husband had the beef tenderloin which he loved. I had the grilled flounder which was prepared excellently. For dessert, we both ordered the grand mariner soufflé. There is a slight upcharge from the pre-fixe menu, but it is worth it. It is served with a side of crème anglaise and fresh raspberry sorbet. I wish I had some right now! During the meal the owner visited tables and spoke to everyone. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a wonderful diningWe had a wonderful dining experience at LeYaca. The french onion soup is outstanding - not the usual drowning in cheese mess! The crepe appetizer - delicious with wonderful balance of flavors. Don't miss this Williamsburg gem tucked in a shopping center.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat foodwe celebrated our anniversary here. It was a very nice experience and we will definitely return. Our server was very attentive and made us feel special. The beef fillets were cooked to perfection. Thank you, Le Yaca.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMA Great FindWe found this gem on our last visit to Williamsburg and make it a point to stop for dinner every time we are in the area. The food never disappoints and the services is always excellent.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMmain couse was good but we expectedWe expected more, but the woman owner greeted every table and provided a personal experience for every patron. The main course was really good but the appetizers' were a bit disappointing. Foie Gras was tasty but a bit too fatty. And the crab crepe was overpowered by cheese. The champagne recommendation was great. The main course fillet was flavorful and cooked perfectly. All in all, a good meal but for the price, could have been better.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMOff in a quiet shipping mallOff in a quiet shipping mall this was a complete surprise. The food was absolutely outstanding. Attention to service by a staff clearly in awe of Madame who runs the show. Would love to return5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMun peu de parisThis is the best restaurant in Williamsburg. Great food, excellent service. Madame (the owner) visits each table to personally cover the specials and the menu with her wonderful French accent. Service was much better this time than at our firs visit.
Food is always excellent. The wine list is adequate but more variety for glass of wine would be nice.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMWish it were closer to home - DCA special reunion with dear, old friends was made even more special by the excellent service. The atmosphere was food for the weary traveler (me)'s spirit - it both elegant yet relaxed. The food was beautifully presented and prepared -- creative but accessibly in composition. The ingredients told their tale of freshness and encouraging one to think that health was as much an outcome as delight. I wish that there was a Le Yaca here so that I might dine there weekly. A plethora of restaurants in the DC area - but alas, I must return to Williamsburg to find such an experience.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMLe Yaca dining experienceI would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a romantic evening! We had the 4 course meal and were given a complimentary toast for the special occasion. The staff were incredibly professional and the food was exceptional. The food was very good and filling--all 6 of us enjoyed it. The bread came out hot, yet the dough was soft. We had a very enjoyable evening and the wine was not overpriced--a big plus!5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice dining experience...We had never eaten here and I took the advice of trip advisor to give it a try. We were warmly greeted at the door and shown to a lovely quiet corner table. Our server was outstanding. It was quite busy because it was William & Mary graduation weekend. Our food was good (filet & lobster). All in all, a very nice meal.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMConsistently superb.Le Yaca offers a consistently superb dining experience. The quality of food and service is always outstanding, and the atmosphere is elegant.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice Mothers Day lunchWe sat in the back room which was fairly noisy but not so that we couldn't talk to each other. The restaurant was busy, the waitstaff was patient with our table. The food was fantastic - they had a set menu for Mother's Day which made it easy for us to pick. The French onion soup, asparagus soup (in season), halibut, and steak were all big hits at our table!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMcelebrationWe went for Mother's Day and were treated like old friends.
Good service and great food.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFrench CharmerWe chose this restaurant for a special occasion sight unseen based upon user comments. We were not disappointed. The shopping center locale belies the elegance inside, but once through the door, this restaurant is special. Food is excellent and locally sourced, service is quiet and efficient, and the hostess/propritoress is welcoming and charming. We thouroughly enjoyed our evening at Le Yaca!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMOut of the Way TreasureLe Yaca Is a quality restaurant with great food and service.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent experienceThe food is beyond excellent. High quality ingredients, spot-on preparation. From the appetizers to dessert, each bite was pure flavor. Foodies do not want to miss this opportunity.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMLe Yaca for Special OccasionFamily of four enjoyed this restaurant for college graduation celebration on Mother's Day weekend. The service was superb. The meals, dessert, salad and soup were very good - nice presentation, cooked as requested. We were seated in a side room which was very comfortable and quiet. Definitely would recommend.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMDessert was awesome, but,,,I ordered seafood and the shrimp smelled like it smelled like it was saturated with bleach. It smelled pretty bad. I don't recommend anyone to order seafood.
The best part was dessert. All the dessert we ordered (total of 8)were all good.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of our favoritesWe always stop in when in Williamsburg. The owner is friendly, personable, gave us great wine recommendations( as usual). Has maintained high standards and consistancy over years. We'll be back!5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome food. Classic FrenchAwesome food. Classic French winners like the baquette, union soup and escargots were fabulous. Everything else was simply very good except for the sole. A little rubbery, where these need to be very fresh. Location is wierd, but we were told they will move soon. Hopefully they find a place closer to old town, so you can scrawl a little after dinner...5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMCharming restaurantLe Yaca is a lovely restaurant with delicious food. Everything on the menu is wonderful. It's a great place to celebrate a special occasion. The ambiance is elegant, marred only by the inappropriate attire of guests wearing T-shirts and jeans.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways ExcellentOver the years we have eaten here many times a year. We went here 10 years ago for a surprise birthday party for my mom. This year it was for an early mother's day dinner. It is always perfect. The food, the service, the whole package. We always know dining at Le Yaca will be a memorable and enjoyable experience.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMIt would have been nice ifIt would have been nice if the Hostess would have greeted us with a smile and a welcome. Maybe she was just having a Bad day. The food was great as usual. Nobody knew anything about their wines and selection by the glass was lacking. We had noted it was an Anniversary on your notes, but they did not bring it up. This restaurant has been great for many years, but I am afriaid the ownership maybe are getting"tired".5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMConsistenly SpectacularMy fiance and I dined at Williamsburg's lovely Le Yaca restaurant for the fourth time this past week and, once again, it exceeded our already high expectations. It is one of our top three favorites, across the country. We're already looking forward to the next experience!5/7/2013 12:00:00 AM
