When we got there they sat us at a large table set for 6 people. It was kind of weird to have us at this table but I guess it was ok. My husband had the duck and he said it was dry and did not enjoy his meal. I had the scallops and thought they were great! I guess it all depends on the chef. I felt it was a bit pricey for Mount airy casino considering it was a weekday and there were no specials! I would go back considering the steak house was closed and we only had the diner and buffet as an option. Our waiter was hurried and rattled off a couple of options. We had to ask for the manager, who helped to clarify the options by speaking to the chef. In this day and age, it would be nice if the menu indicated as much or the wait staff were more helpful and didn't act as if they were being imposed upon. My boyfriend and I had the Chicken Parm and the Tomato Motzerella Salad. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food we were served, and the wine was tasty.
Each table had two servers, who were attentive and not at all intrusive.
The only reason why I did not give this resturant five stars was because I feel that it was very dark and a little on the loud side. The restaurant is clean and beautiful. It is reasonably priced. I would recommend this restaurant to any couples and or groups. After the meal, we discovered the restaurant didn't even serve champagne. They got it for us from the casino bar. Food was delicious and worth the money.
