Le P'tit LaurentAnother great mealCame back and brought my dad for his 74th birthday. At the last minute we had to add a 7th person to our 6 person reservation, and they accommodated us without a problem. Service was great; relaxed and present without being pressured. Food was consistently great across starters, salads, soup and main courses. We tried every dessert and all were excellent- the carmelized french toast was most popular, the chocolate souffle a close second. A wonderful night!5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was my third time eatingThis was my third time eating dinner at this resteraunt! It never disappoints and the Sunday-Thursday neighborhood menu is unbeatable!4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I took our 2 kidsMy wife and I took our 2 kids (age 12 and 9) on a Tuesday after work. The place is really nicely designed and has a very warm, comfortable feel. The food was great. Escargot and oysters for appetizers were both fantastic. I had the soup of the day (celery cream), and it had a wonderful texture and flavor. I had the Moules et frites, and the mussels were perfect. My wife had bass with a mushroom risotto, and it was excellent. My daughter had lamb shank and it loved it. My son (age 9) is not very adventurous, and the server was happy to accommodate him with a bowl of plain pasta and cheese. Service was attentive yet very comfortable and relaxed. Fantastic food in a warm, welcoming setting.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGREAT LITTLE RESTAURANT INGREAT LITTLE RESTAURANT IN A GREAT LITTLE NEIGHBORHOOD. VERY FRIENDLY STAFF, AND IT REMINDED ME OF A LITTLE FRENCH BISTRO IN FRANCE. THE INTERIOR IS NICELY DONE IN AN OLD FRENCH THEME, WAITERS ARE DRESSED ACCORDINGLY, I FELT LIKE I WAS IN FRENCH VILLAGE DINING WITH THE RESIDENTS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE,,,,,,ALL WAS GOOD AND WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent service. Food isExcellent service. Food is always delicious. Wine list leaves something to be desired (for good lower-to-mid price range wines).4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMAnd so it is!This place was absolutely awesome went there on a whim and was just blown away. First of all it is the owner who attended to us from start to finish. He made the food recommendations and we were not dissappointed. The food and wine choices were spot on. I had the sea bass and my date had the lamb plate. To say the food was good is a understatement at best. Everything we tried was very good and the portions were not skimpy either. And lets say the price was very reasonable. Overall you have to give this place a try you wont be dissappointed!4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMA neighborhood gem that'sA neighborhood gem that's a French bistro in San Francisco--can it get any better? An amazing place. I almost hesitate to praise Le P'tit Laurent for fear I'll never be able to get another reservation.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMI asked the waiter to cardI asked the waiter to card the ladies in my party even though they were both well past 21 and he played it perfectly! Great evening, especially when the entire place all sang birthday salutations to the many fellow diners who were celebration birthdays.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMFrench Food Find in Glen ParkThis is our "go to" restaurant for special occasions or taking friends from out of town. Laurent is friendly and it's always a pleasure to dine at his restaurant.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMA taste of a French Country InnLoved the tax special menu choices. The smoked salmon salad tasty & appealing. Delicious & rich sauce enrobed the lamb shank with an overall homey flavor, pleasing the palate from the first bite. The deconstructed Tarte Tatin, though nicely presented, was a little disappointing; it reminded us of applesauce anchored by gelatin. Handsome, pleasant, efficient waiters!4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGood job all round. GreatGood job all round. Great work by the host/waiter. Please put the Spring vegetable risotto back on the menu.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWe are longtime fans of LeWe are longtime fans of Le P'tit Laurent and always have a great time. A good selection of first courses and main entrees. My husband enjoyed the cauliflower soup and I the salad. Both of us had the most delightful lambshanks. Dessert was $2.13 so of course I had to try the chocolate souffle w/pear sorbet, delicious. My husband had a poached pear w/chocolate sauce. Thank you Bonnie and Brian for the recommendation...We

While I expected the food to be very good, if not excellent, I was amazed at the quality of the food, the preparation, the presentation. In short, my meal and my dinner companion's was exceptional. and3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is a charming, neighborhoodThis is a charming, neighborhood restaurants that I plan to return to over and over again. However, this was my first time there and I ordered the duck confit which was traditionally hearty and I couldn't finish it (I always order duck confit, then I am surprised to find out how heavy it is). I thought for the price was little on the high end, since this is a French Bistro and the food they serve is reflective of such. On the other hand, I ordered duck confit which is really French comfort food, in my opinion. I was most impressed by the wait staff. Very polite, fun, and accommodating in an easy-going way. So decent food. Great ambience and service.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is our second visit,This is our second visit, this time with a group of friends and we all enjoyed the ambiance, food, and service.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMNever disappointed when diningNever disappointed when dining here! Attentivefriendly service!3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMA slice of France in SFThiis neighborhood gem is like a slice of France in SF. From the waitstaff that greet you to the bistro setting and decor and the wonderful food, you feel like you are dining in a quaint restaurant off the Champs- Élysées. Just a lovely experience from start to finish!3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMEver since it opened, I haveEver since it opened, I have loved this French bistro in Glen Park. The food is always good, the wine selection is great, and the service is mostly spot on. It's a cozy spot but the great food makes up for small size. I recommend it highly to anyone who wants authentic French food without the high prices of downtown restaurants.3/10/2013 12:00:00 AMlove that dessertWe loved le P'tit Laurent!! Although it is as far as it could be from us and still be in San Francisco, it is definitely worth the journey! My husband had rabbit, I had the soup special, potato with asparagus, and tri-tips. All very good, but the dessert, chocolate fondue was really special. We'll be back, soon.2/5/2013 12:00:00 AM
