Diner Reviews
  • "Love the food here, from the Greek salad and wine at the beginning to the entrée and desert at the end! Will definitely be coming back."

  • "I was in LA on business and wanted to try something other than the hotel food. The egg o lantern stuffed with feta had gotten rave reviews and I concur - it was excellent! The grape leaves were a bit disappointing because the leaves were too tough. Octopadi was delicious. Overall, good experience!"

  • "Tried to find a nice place for after a matinee at the Pantages...... Wow what a great find.... Food was great .... Service attentive with good recommendations... The feta stuffed eggplant appetizer was superb !!! Will definitely make this the go-to after being in or close to Hollywood/downtown"

  • "Fun place, good energy and the Greek selection of food is super, and taste just as good. I would recommend this place with a plus. It is in a cute section on Larchmont, and you have a choice of inside and out. I sat inside by the window, and I was ever so comfortable. Could see the action on the street, and enjoy my friends in a conversation."

  • "It has improved in all aspects since we were last here years ago. Dishes are freshly prepared and served promptly upon completion. Appetizers and salads amenable to sharing. Main courses were very flavorful and the selection was wide. Service was friendly, attentive and welcoming. House wines are delightful. Wine list is inviting. We'll be back soon."

  • "We asked for an item that was not on the menu, and it was no problem. It took longer to prepare, but worth the wait."

  • "I love Lamb! I was excited about the special Sat. Eve, I ordered it cooked medium. It was very very tough for $33.00 I was not happy when the waiter just said huh. Then ignored the fact that I was not happy with my meal. Don't order the lamb! If you do make sure they cook it correctly . Everything else was nice. Appetizers, wine, atmosphere. "

  • "I have always loved the Larchmont area for lunch and would take advantage of it while working at Paramount or Sunset Gower. Le Petit Greek is an excellent place for good food, service and ambience. I am Greek decent and can vouch for the food but you always feel like family there as well. Their outdoor seating area is perfect for taking in the area and it's people without having either them or the traffic sitting with you. All-together, one of my favorite places."

  • "Set in bustling, charming Larchmont Village, I can't imagine a better place for a lovely lunch and glass of wine! Even familiar dishes like hummus with pita or salad with salmon seemed freshly reinvented here. I'm always looking for where to go when I find myself in this neighborhood... and at last I've found "the" spot!"

  • "The food was amazing! Appetizers were outstanding. We had a great dinner on the patio. Our friends said it was one of his top ten best meals ever! Can't wait to go back."

  • "My husband is Greek and we fell in love with authenticity of the restaurant, both in terms of food and atmosphere. Our Server spoke Greek and that was an extra treat for my husband. The menu choices are reflective of the culture, plus lovely salads and....apitzizers to delight! The chef makes a bernaise lemon sauce that is out of sight but definitely requires giving up some calories for the day. We will return."

  • "Outstanding restaurant with the best Greek food in the city. In addition, it is in the cutest area...Larchmont Village. Don't miss this special place!!!"
    Dined on 4/11/2014
  • "We really enjoyed the food and the service was great. The lemon potatoes and the fresh pita bread were my favorite! Their wine selection, though,...so good! Highly recommend this place."

  • "Better than Sofi, but that's not saying much. Gigantes were homemade which is more than most places but still lacking in rich flavor and overcooked. Keftides were somewhat soggy and heavy. Tzaziki was good as was the Taramasalata but could have used a bit more fish egg flavor. Dolmades again points for home made, but filling was insipid rice mix. Service was quite good and unlike some other greek places the restaurant is run by Greek Nationals. We don't think we will go back."

  • "Grilled sea bass amazing. Meal facilitated by the hostess and she made sure all our dining needs were met. I noticed her in the background sort of directing servers etc to be sure all was right. Further, she introduced the specials and had a great knowledge of the food for that day. Thank you"

  • "Celebrated a reunion with long-time friends on a quiet Sunday night (Academy Awards night). Maitre d' was exceptional in terms of his friendliness, hospitality, and gracious care. We dined on appetizers (meze) alone and had a fabulous meal. Service was attentive, caring, and unobtrusive. We'll definitely return!"

  • "We love this restaurant and have been going for years. My husband and I went Sunday night, ordered the pasta special with seafood, but the waiter did not quote a price. We felt awkward asking. We enjoyed the dish very much but were quite surprised when the bill came and they were $35. I don't think we will be back soon, and will reserve our dining there for special occasions."

  • "Not familiar with restaurants in the area, we choose Le Petit Greek from our Zagat guide. We had no particular expectation, we were just looking for a convenient place to dine after a nearby event. We were wonderfully surprised. A very hospitable staff, quiet and simple atmosphere, and superb food which had us happily reminiscing about out trips to Greece. From soup through dessert, the food was wonderful."

  • "An authentic Greek restaurant without "touristy" gimmicks; very good food. Could use a bigger service staff, but those on hand are Greek-Americans which adds to the ambiance."

  • "We have dined at Le Petit Greek on numerous occasions. The food is always delicious. They really know how to treat their customers. After ordering an entree the server brings us a delicious Greek salad and hot pita. After that we ordered the spanokopita and the grilled calamari. For our main entree we ordered the Zorba chicken which comes with veggies ands heir amazing Lemon potatoes. For desert we always order the baklava. Every dish we have ordered in this restaurant is authentic and very tasty."

  • "Our hosts gave us the best dinner experience, starting with a great selection of wines follow by the excellent flavor of their mezzes, Le Petit Greek is a restaurant I would not doubt to recommend to any of my friends visiting L.A. They were very accommodating, a great atmosphere, either for a romantic or casual dinner, this restaurant is family and kids friendly, hey! after all they are Greek, and Greek is synonymous of happy family eating together....Opa! Thank you Le Petit Greek, a little piece of Greece in the heart of L.A."

  • "Le Petit Greek is an excellent choice for dinner after going to a show at any of the local Theatrical events. Very nice boutique setting with indoor and outdoor tables in a vibrant downtown scene. The odd was excellent in presentation and taste. We enjoyed the rack of lamb, and a wonderful bottle of Greek wine from Corinth. Our waiter was knowledgeable of all the restaurant offerings and very professional, with attentive service. We enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at the Ahmonson, followed by Le Petit Greek. A fantastic day indeed."

  • "We have been to Le Petit Greek at least 4 times this year and the food is always consistently good."

  • "Greek chicken soup was filling and delicious; flaming cheese dish very tasty and dramatic; vegetarian assortment as main course very delicious and chicken in Greek wine sauce very good too. Portions are quite large. Greeter was on the phone and kept up his conversation far too long upon arrival. Waiter was aggressive, surly, and rude. He blamed us when we complained that we waited a very long time to give in our order. Server arrived with soup and pushed aside our dinner plates in a thoroughly unprofessional manner. All in all, the good food trumps the bad service, but really, at these prices, one expects to be treated as a valued customer."

  • "Food and service was wonderful. I also appreciate the flexibility of the restaurant to accommodate my request to push my reservation time back."
    Dined on 9/17/2013
  • "I came here for dinner and it was a delicious experience with a great waitstaff and adorable/comfortable atmosphere. However, for the price point it wasn't as fresh as I would have thought. It seemed a bit processed (more along the lines of their vegetables and pitas)."
