I got their early and was waiting for dining partners and was not once offered a drink. When party of 3 was all seated they neglected to bring over menus for everyone. It wasn't that crowded. Had to ask several time for a beverage or more bread. Every time food was brought to the table it was placed before the wrong person. Having said that it's a minor annoyance b/c the food is great, the staff doesn't rush you out, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxed which is rare on the UES. It's become my new haunt even though I've lived in neighborhood for years.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's DayAlthough my husband, son and I were surprised to find a special Mother's Day menu, we got past that and thoroughly enjoyed the time there. Although busy, the staff is friendly and professional. The food was prepared exactly as requested and it was delicious. Perhaps the best pomme frites!
