This was our second visit to Le Marly. The group tried most of the entrees, mains and desserts, and all were inventive, excellent dishes. The food is consistently delicious and as good as any place we have dined at in Montreal (and better than many highly rated places). The value is also remarkable. We were left completely satisfied, yet wondering why Le Marly is not busier given the quality and value it offers. We certainly will return!

  • Huge disappointment
    OpenTable Diner Since 2011

The food was very disappointing. It looked a lot better than it tasted. The ambience and all is great. Wine list is ok there are no private importations. The food is overpriced if you consider the way it tastes. The bill was $175 for 2 people with a bottle of wine. I'm used to pay that much at lemeac or l'express or barroco etc..the food at Le Marly does not even compare to these other restaurants. It was just a huge disappointment!!! I had to go to mcdonalds and get myself a big Mac trio to satisfy my hunger after my dining experience at Le Marly

  • A real find

What a wonderful surprise. After a vacation filled with many great (and expensive) meals, we searched for a good, moderately priced restaurant near our hotel. Le Marly proved to be equal to or better than its more famous kin in Quebec, Vermont and our home, New York City. We were told that the chef is only 30 years old. He promises a great career if he doesn't lose his ability to be both elegant and simple. Each ingredient of every dish we had belonged there. Yet, he knew when to stop. A perfect meal. Bravo!

This place is great! Food is really good, wine list is ok, the wine we got was very good though. When we went, we were almost alone in the place, we got a good service but the place felt a little empty. I highly recommend it. Again, thumbs up for the food!!

The food was delicious. It was not very crowded for a Saturday night. This may be good for some people. It may be bad for others. The service was very good. The menu was small, which is not uncommon. But there was no steak option. They had deer and duck. I personally don't eat deer or duck, so I went with the fish. Each item was delicious however.

Read about Le Marley and thought we would give it a try since it was near to our hotel. We were very pleased with our choice. The lobster bisque was delicious and the presentation outstanding. I had the wapiti cooked medium rare at our waiter's suggestion and it was excellent. We finished with the molten cake which is a must. The ambiance is great. Decor is superbe.
