  • "I love this broad open space...the walls and the hanging decor above the well-placed central bar are everything that's fab about industrial but welcoming DTLA design. Great happy hour cocktails 3-7 daily. I'm a scotch lover...the Smoke w/out Fire is a fav. Digging the new menu. Small shared plates...we need more of this in our LA lives! Management here is friendly, laid-back and fun. Walking distance to Staples and LA Live...think about starting your night here for Happy Hour before heading to a game or concert."

  • "My wife an I were visiting LA over Valentines Day and Le Ka had decent ratings on Open Table so I reserved a table. When we found out they were serving a Prix Fixe menu we were a little put off (haven't had good luck with prix fixe lately). We were very pleased with the cook and flavor of the food on the menu. They also had a his/hers special cocktails that were very delicious. Service was good and from someone who lives in the midwest, being able to sit comfortably outside and enjoy a meal on Feb 14 is quite nice."

  • "Went for a special "Valentines" dinner, though one day late. The main room is very beautiful and spacious and the surrounding indoor and outdoor rooms all look very nice. I will definitely be back with a corporate event for one of their private rooms -- this place is perfect for that. Overall the food was excellent - a bit on the pricey side but generally worth it. Except for the $5 coffee -- definitely not worth it!"

  • "I will start by saying the quality of the food was excellent. They appeared to be under staffed and therefore the service was poor, and we were sitting at the bar! The starters were way overpriced for what you got. We had three different starters and a pizza, the starters were as much as the pizza and the pizza was a decent size while the starters were slightly more than a mouthful. We left with our appetites barely satisfied and even with the coupon we had (yes, I found out about it through Living Social. $35 for $73 worth of food/drinks) we still walked out of there $50 poorer. (the coupon, 2 drinks and 3 starters, we added 2 more drinks, a pizza and a dessert). Kind of a trendy "pick up" place."

  • "Edmund is a great bartender. He knows how to make some drinks that others do not. For example great stuff from Brazil. They even have the correct ingredients. The food was great and the AGM was very attentive. Especially when he noticed that our server was being overwhelmed with some high maintenance folks in another room. The AGM pitched in to make sure we did not get dropped. It was noticed and appreciated. We had drinks at the bar first and then sat outside for dinner. We ordered several items and indicated we wanted to share them. They arrived split for us and ready to serve without being made to feel awkward about sharing items. Very nice."

  • "We ate bone marrow and fried oyster sliders... jesus this place is delish. It's got a great outdoor patio with a firewall that warms you up even on the coldest night. I'd recommend this for people looking to eat good food. Grab great happy hour prices before 7pm. it's romantic, it's got great ambiance and good service. The only thing I didn't like was the blonde hostess' attitude, it needs a slight tweak :D"

  • "So if you go the pork belly app is amazing. The fries are nicely double fried like they do in Belguim/Holland. The duck was ok, seems like the girls I was with were pretty happy with the fishes (black cod and branzenno). A good spot but given all the other great restaurants, likely will wonder elsewhere"

  • "Great experience! They incorporated my comments when making the reservation, were friendly, service was great, food and atmosphere fantastic. What to improve? 1. Although trying to be classy by boxing up leftovers and holding them up front (rather than putting bags and boxes on the table), this leads to forgetting and the hostesses (yes, more than 1) did not remind the patrons; if leaving up front, the hostess should be responsible for getting the leftovers into the hands of the patrons on their way out. 2. When making the reservation, Le Ka sent me a confirmation with a very negative sounding: "This reservation is not eligible for Dining Points." I would recommend but ONLY if your company matches the two fabulous women I took."
