Diner Reviews
  • "Not one miss in the entire selection. Visited with two friend before theatre on a Thursday. All our selections were top notch. Service was courteous. Had to search for the waiter to pay..."

  • "Dined here twice and tried once. When there, good service, decent food, zero ambience (that of a hallway basically). But a good quick choice for pretheatre or concert. Unfortunately most recent reservation cancelled at last minute by the restaurant as they had a "private event". This they could have told me weeks before when the reservation was made, but no..."

  • "We were seated and were never offered a menu. We had to ask for one. We explained to 2 different people that we had a show to attend and were recommended quick dishes but still our main meal took over an hour to arrive. We had ordered the tartare, not even something you had to cook! The waitress never passed by our table, we had to flag someone else down. We never even got to eat dessert. The food, when it arrived, looked and tasted amazing. However, the service was so poor that I will never go back."

  • "Beware: There is no signage for this restaurant, so you have to know where it is. It's inside the Museum of Contemporary Art (2nd floor) - which is a bit strange. We arrived a 6pm (2 hours before a MSO concert at Place des Arts). We were the only customers during the 1.5 hours we were there, which was odd (or maybe not - since the restaurant's existence isn't obvious). So, we had our server's full attention, and she was wonderful, taking the time to explain every dish on the menu to us. Every dish was simply excellent - exceeding our expectations! It still amazes me that the place wasn't packed full of people. We will definitely be going back."

  • "This place is a real find. We were in Montreal unexpectedly and trying to get reservations. It turned out that it was Restaurant Week and all the places we were interested in trying were booked. This was the only place we could get reservations, and so we jumped at it. How lucky we were! You'd think that a restaurant in an art museum wouldn't be much to speak of, but there you are quite wrong. The food was not just incredibly tasty, it was imaginative and beautiful. Salads with meringue and sorbet, main dishes topped with quail eggs, and dessert with salted buttermilk ice cream. I could go on and on but there is just not enough room in this review! In short: this place is a find. It's worth your time and money. Eat in an art museum!"
