"Just a pleasurable and easeful dining experience - no pretentiousness at all. Wait staff was fun and knowledgeable. Every culinary suggestion was spot on! Drinks were tasty with a great wine list, which made my friend's birthday celebratory dinner extra special. The intimate space makes for a cozy experience & our dining neighbors were fun to engage with. To top it off, the price for the experience was exceptional. I have already recommended this restaurant to two of my friends."

"Four of us went out to Le Comptoir on a Saturday night. Although we were 15 minutes late for our reservation, they held our table. The waitress took our drink order right away. The wait staff are fun & sweet and on top of their tables. We all were licking our plates clean as the food was excellent. Brussels sprouts, a must have! Gnocchi with butternut squash & duck, delicious! Short ribs, so tender & juicy! Scallops with mashed parsnips, divine! Bread pudding dessert was heavenly!"

"I came here with my boyfriend. Outdoor seating was not open yet, despite the great weather. We ordered the short ribs which were good, but no better then anywhere else. I had the roasted brussels sprouts which were crispy and I enjoyed a lot. I also had the scallops which were seared really well and had a good flavor, not chewy at all. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. The menu is small, so I don't think I'll come back for dinner, but I definitely want to give them another chance with brunch. Quiet atmosphere with rather plain/simple decor."

"Amazing food, I had a great time tasting flavorful dishes in Le Comptoir, service is very laid back so if you are very needy and want pretentious service this is not the place, service is good don't get me wrong just not running around to get you something asap instead taking their time to make their cocktails from scratch , peeling the fruit muddling it and making sure it tastes good , same as food, Will definitely come back and bring friends ."
