Very quaint little place off the path. The food was wonderful and the staff very attentive and pleasant. I asked at reservation time if the house could arrange a dozen roses be on the table for our wedding anniversary and have never seen a better cut of flowers. The experience was very good.

I was slightly disappointed after all the good reviews I had read of Le Charm. It was a bit too small--we arrived quite early, we had a reservation, and almost no one was there, but it was still hard to find a table situated just right--far enough from the door, not to close to the kitchen, not right next to the one other occupied table, etc.
The food was disappointing--not terrible, not just wondrous as I'd hoped. The french onion soup was too salty and--perhaps I just don't like meringue--the cloud dessert was boring. It did not have flavor.
As our meal went on, all the tables began to fill until they were all taken. When the tables are full, Le Charm is NOT a quiet restaurant. Go early if you want quiet conversation.
