It is modern, with widely spaced tables. The high ceiling helps keep the noise level down. This place is perfect for a business lunch or dinner.
The food is excellent, the choice good. The only odd thing is that the service doesn't match the appearance of the restaurant or the quality of the food. The servers are sweet, young females. They try hard but it is weird to get your appetizer before any wine appears on the table, and for the server not even to notice this. so here. Lisa, my favorite hostess & the
person who helps keep the restaurant on
the right track, was filled in very amply by bright, cheerful
2 young ladies who had a smile on their
faces & were very attentive to our group
of 4. Michael was on vacation, and so we
were in the hands of the sous chef - which
turned out to be a seamless transition.
Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked

It has usually been fairly empty at lunch as it is a little off the normal restayurant scene, but it delivers really good food at reaonable prices and has been around a long time, so it must get busy at other times. It's especially appropriate if you want a quiet place for either a romantic meal or a business lunch. I had the tomato soup and gnocchi and both were excellent. We were so happy to have tried it again. The food was excellent. The veal chop was outstanding and the Soul delicious. I did find the pasta sauces a bit heavy, but still enjoyable.
The service was fabulous! Our waiter was as professional and extremely personable.

I don't usually eat gnocchi but these were light and delicious. The canned music was too loud and did not add to the ambiance but they turned it down upon request.
