  • "Wonderful experience. Food was outstanding, service was excellent. Great wine list."

  • "The appetizers were great, but the second and third courses was bellow the expectations. In my oppinion it does not justify the cost."

  • "This iconic New York landmark continues to be a great experience. The food continues to be wonderful with beautiful presentation. The ambience is peaceful, though it is a very busy room. And the the service is impeccable. It still provides a wonderful experience, not matched in many other places in town. It lends itself for any special occasion."

  • " We were a little intimidated, not being used to the fine dining experience, we didn't want to embarass ourselves or seem as if we didn't belong. We were welcomed and made to feel comfortable, the seafood was everything we could have wanted, the service was interested in making our dream meal wonderful. The best seafood dishes of our lives."

  • "Le Bernardin has been for years and still is the best restaurant in the USA. The lunch formula is a steal. Highly Reccommended and do not miss the wine. Service is impeccable."

  • "We travel to New York about four times a year and each time we treat ourselves to lunch at Le Bernadin. We have eaten in many places, in many countries but Le Bernadin has been a favorite since it's early days and a must do each time we are there. Lunch at Le Bernadin is the best value and best food in town and we feel fortunate to be able to make it our special time."

  • "What a delight despite our wine selection being unavailable"

  • "WE HAD A GREAT LUNCH AT LE BERNARDIN RATED 3 STARS, IT WORTH IT. FROM THE ENTREES TO THE DESSERT ALL WAS TASTY AND GOOD. GOOD FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE. AND FOR THIS SPECIAL OCCASION (BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION) A VERY TASTY CAKE WTIH A CANDLE ON TOP. I HAVE THERE LONG TIME AGO BEFORE LE BERNARDIN GOT THE 3 STARS, IT WAS ALREADY A NICE PLACE TO HAVE DINNER, NOW IT'S ENHANCED BY THIS DISTINCTION IT'S BETTER ! THE MONKFISH IS REALLY TASTY !"

  • "From the moment we entered, the staff made us feel like treasured guests. This was our third visit equally spaced over 30 years and our first lunch (being unable to get a dinner reservation at our desired dining times). The extensive menu was very similar to the dinner menu. All the food was delicious. Seafood is king here. We chose appetizers (hamachi and charred calamari) and entrees (black bass and dover sole) accordingly. Service was attentive but unobtrusive, and the beautiful setting calm and relaxing. A complimentary salmon-based dish and a fabulous assortment of rolls and bread accompanied our drinks and a glass of sauvignon blanc. Desserts and expressos put the final touch to another memorable dining experience at Le Bernardin."

  • "My client and her attorney were delighted with Le Bernardin as the venue it celebrate their birthdays. The lunch experience was fabulous for beginning to end. We can't wait until next year to return to celebrate. & hope to be there beforehand!"

  • "The dining experience at Le Bernardin can only be described as a masterful exposition of modern French cuisine and class. With its contemporary decor, yet warm environment, the restaurant itself serves as a testament to chic, upscale urban dining. As everyone in my party opted for the $78 Prix Fixe (with a few extras), I cannot comment on the other tasting menus. Each course blended seamlessly into the next in a comforting and intriguing composition that can only be described as a great meal. All servers were top-notch (as to be expected from a restaurant with three Michelin Stars) and pleasant. The management staff were very accommodating to our time constraints. I would highly recommend Le Bernardin to anyone in the area."

  • "Everything about the restaurant is classy. The food is superb and the service was impeccable. We were a party of six and had a wonderful evening."

  • "We came for lunch to celebrate my 60th birthday. Eric Ripert is my favorite chef, so I'd always wanted to eat at Le Bernardin. It was more wonderful than I could have imagined. I never knew food could taste so amazingly fresh and delicious! The service was superb, not intrusive, very helpful staff regarding menu and wine. I couldn't cook dinner that night because I wanted lunch to be the last thing I tasted that day. I can't wait for another special occasion in NYC so that I can return."

  • "The king fisch with cavier is a must have, everything they make is perfect. Only thing that could have made it more perfect is chocolate ice cream for desert, had their version of a smores and it was fabulous. The staff is always wonderful and we will be dining there again."

  • "The restaurant accommodated our New Orleans group with ease for the lunch pre-fix, even when one ended up not eating. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious as well as aesthetically pleasing. Also the perfect place to try some expertly crafted cocktails. I recommend the Brooklyn Bee. The scallops, halibut, and s'mores dessert were exquisite."

  • "Le Bernardin feels very French but is at the same time modern and forward thinking. The wine pairings are pure perfection. We didn't expect korean fusion at a French seafood restaurant and it was fantastic. Small portions - you won't leave full but you'll feel oh so satisfied. The chef's tasting is highly recommended for the full experience. Make sure to add on their signature tuna/foie dish as well. Service was attentive and excellent although perhaps slightly stiffer than other 3 star Michelin restaurants we've visited."

  • "Despite the popularity of the Fooding Movement, there is nothing quite like a meal in a genuinely classic grand restaurant such as Le Bernardin! They truly have got EVERYTHING right in this restaurant: the ambience is sumptuous yet relaxing, the service is prompt yet unobtrusive, the food is superb; and that rarest of rare quality of being able to converse with your dining partner without having to shout. This last might have more to do with the clientele, still, you get what you are paying for. A food establishment to be treasured!"

  • "I had lunch at Le Bernardin on a recent trip to Manhatten, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The servers were helpful & friendly, the food delicious, the ambience calm & sophisticated. It was a delight!"

  • "Truly the best meal I have ever had. Every dish is perfection. Service is impeccable. There is no restaurant I would rather dine at than Le Bernardin for a special occasion."

  • "After trying for years during visits to NYC to obtain a reservation an (very) early dinner reservation was available and I grabbed it. How nice was it that when I was called to reconfirm the hostess assured me I would not be rushed just because I had an early spot and that the kitchen would pace the meal so that I had time to enjoy. AND it was.... Ehteral food, ethereal food and perfect (if a bit over the top at times) service. By the time our meal was done, all wines emptied, all sweets eaten, and bank account emptied, almost 3 hours had passed and the staff managed to make us feel welcome the entire time. What a treat and a bit of a contrast to the meal we had had the night before at a different place. I am hooked..."

  • "We went to this resturant for our 34th anniversary. The place is lovely and the staff very attentive. However, the food was good but not as excellent as I had anticipated. The white tuna was exquisite, as were the deserts but the other tastings were I unimpressive. I feel that the flavors at 11 Madison Park were more memorable."

  • "It is the type of restaurant to impress a girl. Expensive but incredible food and service"
    Dined on 7/28/2014
  • "My husband and I have dined at Le Bernardin several times for lunches and dinners, and have always been impressed with the consistent quality of the food, service and ambiance. I'm not sure if it's possible to improve upon what is practically a perfect experience, though this time the food seemed even more sublime than usual, and the wine pairings married so harmoniously with the food. We went all out with the Chef's Tasting Menu and it was worth every cent. We were celebrating a special occasion with a dear nephew who was visiting the city for a conference and they brought a special dessert and made him feel as special as he is, so we couldn't be happier to have chosen Le Bernardin. We're already talking about when we might return."

  • "First of all, this restaurant is expensive. Once you get by that, the food and service are outstanding. The scallops, lobster, and snapper were incredible. The presentations were impeccable. If you are looking for a big night on the town. This is the place to go."
    Dined on 7/26/2014
  • "Before choosing our food, my friend and I browsed the wine menu and each section, red's whites etc. only had about two choices in the $150-$275 range per bottle. The majority then went from $700-2,500 per bottle. That's great, though with two bottles adding $2,K to the bill is a little over the top. We decided that two types of wine would not do a seven course justice, so we chose the paired wines for each course and it was the right choice for sure. The seven course chefs tasting menu was excellent. The service attentive, helpful and friendly, the ambiance classy and tasteful. I would highly recommend and definately go again."

  • "This was a great place if you want to have a business lunch. I was looking for a 5-star restaurant where I can have a casual meal with a friend. The food, specifically the black bass entree, was great"

  • "Perhaps the most enjoyable, well presented meal I have had in the last three years. Presentation, quality, wine list and service were all notable."
    Dined on 7/23/2014
  • "The food was exceptional and the service was probably the best I have ever experienced. My needs were anticipated instead of having to ask. I would go back and not regret it."
    Dined on 7/23/2014
  • "Very expensive night destroyed because the staff was unwilling to contol a boisterous table, food was very good, service good , but be prepared for uncontrolled rowdy customers"
    Dined on 7/22/2014
  • "My date and I had both tasting menus, each with the wine pairing. The food and service were mostly excellent, but unfortunately the wine fell short. The pairings were good, but didn't elevate the way we experienced or tasted the food. I expected much more from Aldo Sohm. All of the pairings seemed very safe, as if Sohm didn't want to try anything too unorthodox or bold. Moreover, the only flaw we experienced in the service was with our sommelier, who informed us that the chardonnay paired with the langoustine did not see oak, but it was clear from the nose alone that it was indeed oaked. After checking back with her, she corrected herself and informed us that it was in fact aged in oak. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Le Bernadin."

  • "The food was amazing as always. The service however, was unattentive, rushed, and often rude. Too disappointing to detail."
