The food we had was tops (duck and salmon) and the three chilled sampler soups were superb. Bob Allen at the piano is always at the right volume and adds to the evening. However, when we went to check out the management would not split our tab by couples which caused some issues because a number of our group do not drink and wanted separate bills. The management did take and run separate credit cards from each couple but would not split the tab other than to divide it equally among the cards.
The Bistro's half off bottle of wine specials was great and their Palm Springs Restaurant Week specials were superb. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Food presentation was impeccable as well as the all the textures and flavors of each appetizer, entree and dessert ordered. We tried this restaurant for the first time as we saw it listed in the Restaurant Week website. Everything was fabulous for service, friendliness, ambiance, food quality and the very soothing live music. Made for a perfect evening for a girls nite out. Corkage is $20 for those who bring their own wine. Not bad considering how posh the restaurant.

Tried a special that wasn't on the menu and got a rib eye cooked just right. The mushroom soup was delicious. Piano player/singer was great and it was a beautiful patio for outdoor dining. Food would have been 5 stars if my wife wouldn't have had to send back her slightly over cooked steak (she likes it rare). They were very apologetic and offered us a free dessert, but we were stuffed. We really enjoyed our meal and the service, possibly the best in the desert. The large outdoor dining area was decorated with good dining in mind, subtle and lively at the same time.

Food quality is excellent and service is generally very good. The outdoor patio is an excellent place to dine. Our favourite entree is dover sole, however, the honey brine pork chop is excellent, as is the rack of lamb. The mushroom soup as a starter is very good as is the beet salad.

it was prom nite and i expect the crowds of young people
usually there seems to be a dress code but there were those in shorts and straight from golfing
disappointing for me to take our guests who i had explained were going to coachella music festival and would not be eating with us as they needed to leave to attend as invited guests as they too are in this industry
we still were rudely ignored by the hostess

When leaving I asked if there was special event that booked up the outside and was told "no". It was explained that those tables are booked a month in advance by people from out of town. We hadn't been before and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service.
