IT WAS A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE. THEY HAVE GORGEOUS GIANT DISPLAYS OF SILK LAVENDER, ORCHIDS, ETC ON TABLE AND ALL THE WINE GLASSES HAVE LAVENDER COLORED NAPKINS IN THEM. We really enjoyed our meal and the service, possibly the best in the desert. The large outdoor dining area was decorated with good dining in mind, subtle and lively at the same time.

Food quality is excellent and service is generally very good. The outdoor patio is an excellent place to dine. Our favourite entree is dover sole, however, the honey brine pork chop is excellent, as is the rack of lamb. The mushroom soup as a starter is very good as is the beet salad.
We have been dining at Lavender Bistro since it opened roughly four years ago. We would highly recommend the restaurant. When leaving I asked if there was special event that booked up the outside and was told "no". It was explained that those tables are booked a month in advance by people from out of town. We hadn't been before and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. The outdoor dining is so brightly lit with white "Christmas Lights" that you almost don't feel you are outside - that would be the only small criticism. Always fun to have some entertainment and we appreciated it. Obvious that many are regulars and treated as they should be with a special thank you and smile by the servers and management. When we first arrived, the room we were in was rather warm but it cooked down shortly thereafter. Dinner specials were creative and regular menu choices were solid. The calamari is presented more as a salad, an interesting and tasty way of presenting the old standby.
