  • "From the outside you don't think much. Once you walk in and continue walking towards the back. It's a total unexpected Restaurant/Bar. Inside is rustic yet modern look and feel, Outside is just the same but with a touch of a Tuscan Courtyard with 3 big Olive Trees. Food is amazing and very reasonably priced. I found my new favorite Brunch place to go on Saturdays or Sundays."

  • "I was not expecting the restaurant to be so huge or for there to be a patio and I was sure surprised when the hostess seated us at the patio. We sat at the communal table, which is fine when you aren't on a date. I wish you could request no communal table but oh well. The drinks were great and very unique. I highly recommend the Skinneas Fog and Fear & Loathing. The food was overall good but not amazing. Food is served when it is ready so you may get your food at odd times. One of our entrees arrived immediately after the appetizer and the other entree showed up 15 minutes later, which made for a little bit of awkwardness. Overall, a great place. Be warned, valet is $8.00 and it takes FOREVER to get your car."

  • "The drinks are expensive and really chintzy on the alcohol. Two notable dishes were the summer corn with truffles and the duck confit salad. Both of those were excellent. The main courses were just okay. The steak was over cooked and tough. Good sauce though. The chicken had a strange texture and the spices on it were overbearing. The chocolate brownie had this "ice cream" on it that was hideously bad. All three of us spit the ice scream out. I didn't know you could screw up ice cream."

  • "Enjoyed a dinner with my husband and daughter here. My daughter ordered the San Daniele prociutto, I had the Margherita pizza and husband the pepperoni pizza. The pizza has a thin, cracker-like crust and was delicious. Service was quick and super friendly. We love the decor and patio in the back. They have a low key exterior that one might easily mistake for a store in a strip of retail shops, but once inside, wow! I want those hardwood floors!"

  • "For brunch it was nice -- crowded immediately upon opening, we sat outside. Creative spaces throughout. Blood orange mimosas were good. Corn pancakes okay, fried chicken & biscuit good (biscuits in general excellent). The "migas" is chilequiles and not a highlight - skip. Bacon tomato sandwich was good but a little too much dressing/spread. Service was very friendly and the cocktails looked good, though we did not try. If you charm the waiter you can get a biscuit subbed for toast. It's not the absolute best place for brunch but we would return and try some lunch items next time. I would compare it with TASTE, and BLD."

  • "A perfect balance of good food and drink in a unique setting. Very busy place to see and be seen without sacrificing quality of the service or the items served. It is the place to be on a Saturday night in WEHO even late for a light meal. The menu selections are somewhat limited offering a narrow choice of mostly small plate food options but we enjoyed everything we tried from the ribs, to lollipop salad, and marinated steak ( the classic pizza was good but too spicy for more than a bite). We will be back."

  • "The hostesses on arrival were very friendly. Never been here before and only passing as I have driven by which is misleading; once you see the back room and the outdoor dining area, I was blown away; especially knowing the real hardware store. Even though we were told when called to confirm the reservation that we have no choice on what room or the outdoor area we wanted to sit in, it was totally up to them , sort of bothered me. Even when I asked again, the answers were not great & seemed to be more based on whom they were seating than what the CUSTOMER wanted. Overall, ambiance very good, service excellent, food was very good but not amazing. All in all though would recommend and would go back."

  • "We had the four of the small plates, called Greens. Three were excellent and one was good. The blistered tomatoes and lollipop sprouts were memorable. The two pizzas were surprisingly good, great thin bubbly crusts. The corn pizza was different and exceptional. Our server had extremely helpful suggestions and was friendly and attentive."

  • "I've eaten here a few times now and it's always been dependable and fun. Bartendar pour strong drinks and the place is always popping with a nice vibe. It's the food, though, that makes me come back. This time some fried squash blossoms and a blistered tomato salad were fantastic. Because they don't have any true vegetarian entrees ( my only complaint) I had the mushroom pizza which was also really good. Service is consistent though some of the bartenders come off as thinking they're a lot cuter than they really are. This is a good choice for a casual night out with friends. Hasn't let me down yet!"

Our waitress was busy but I would think that in a span of 25 mins, she would have at least came by to see how we were doing."

  • "I couldn't believe this spot as once an actual hardware store. There are three rooms. The front is small and intimate, the middle is vibrant with a great bar, and the back is an outside, very cool area with bar too. The food was amazing, and the service was great! I will definitely go back!"

  • "A friend recommended Laurel Hardware, I used to frequent it when it was an actual hardware store. It was an amazing experience from beginning to end, I received a personal call to confirm my reservation, my party of 4 was seated promptly at 7:00pm, our waitress Ali was informative (one of my friends has gluten allergies, Ali saved us from a possible order issue related to ingredients), available, and had a wonderful personality. They have a great wine and cocktail list to choose from, the food came promptly, looked great, but more importantly tasted amazing. The space never felt as big when it was an actual hardware store. They did an impressive job with creating stylish indoor/outdoor spaces."

  • "We have been wanting to try this place out for a very long time. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the restaurant. The outward appearance is very deceptive of how the inside might look. WOW!!! I love restaurants that make an outdoor space within an urban area. Our waitress was wonderful and amazing and made some great recommendations. Definitely have to try a "buzz button" but eat it alittle bite at a time with your meal. We will definitely be back."
