"Our breakfast was al fresco on a crisp morning so the outdoor heaters above the deck were just perfect. Food was delicious but took an exceptionally long time to arrive – if we had had a time constraint, we may have had to cancel our order. When our server was attending to us, he had a fantastic attitude and was top-notch; however, he disappeared for long periods more than once. When time for the bill, he was nowhere to be found so we actually had to get up from the table and go find the hostess (twice, in fact) to request assistance in getting it. This was such a contradiction: the service seemed so promising but fell so short!"

"Our entire evening exceeded our expectations. The gracious staff, especially Cheryl, made us feel most welcome and even at home. The "nestled away" setting is beautiful, with an inviting terraced area leading down to the creek. We would have enjoyed every item on the menu and had difficulty making selections for that reason. The presentation and quality of each item was excellent. Service by all staff attending the table was attentive and perfectly timed. It is a pleasure to write about our evening and in fact, we will be returning before we leave, something we rarely do during a short visit. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!"

"An exceptional dining experience! The creek view is just gorgeous (you can dine outside for a more casual setting). Everything was delicious - I ordered a filet, well done, and it was not dry or singed -it was perfect. The lobster bisque was the best by far. My only complaint is that my reservation was mistakenly cancelled by L'Auberge's computer system and it was an odyssey to try to receive my dining points. The staff kept saying that they took care of it, but I had to go through several steps to finally rectify their mistake."

"Incredible location RIGHT on Oak Creek in Sedona. We had Easter Brunch there, which may not be the typical Sunday menu. Food was good but not remarkable compared to other Sunday brunches with the exception of, perhaps, the minted fruit salad and blueberry bread pudding. The latter was to die for. Service from our waiter was lacking, especially considering the price point, but the bus boys/waiter's helpers were more attentive (although even one of them responded to a request with "that's for your waiter to do"). Location, however, is off the chart and makes up for any shortcomings. Our table was next to the water where we could watch ducks bobbing by and shooting the miniature rapids. Hard to beat that on a sunny mild day."

"Pricey, but one of two restaurants in Sedona (Che Ah Chi at Enchantment is the other) that combines intimacy, superb food and service, ambiance and view. An unbeatable combination for that special occasion."
