As it has deservedly become increasingly popular, noise levels and "exuberance" of it's patrons have increased to sometimes irritating heights, but with food this satisfying, this one negative is easily overlooked. The deep fried Brussels sprouts remain a triumph, and on this visit the sesame tuna and the tender tasty pork chop were especially noteworthy. Service has always been a plus at Latitude, but our server Brandon raised the bar considerably with his enthusiasm and unobtrusively casual focus on providing us with a positive experience.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMI love the food at Lattitude.I love the food at Lattitude. I was there two nights this week and the food was fantastic both times. Nothing beats the fried brussell sprouts. Brandon was our server last night and he was absolutely fabulous. The food from appetizer to after dinner coffee was excellent. we were graciously met, and seated. Our waiter didn't make us feel rushed or in a hurry to turn the table. The owner made it a point to stop by every table to offer a personal touch to the dining experience. It is a bit pricey but the portions were larger than expected and we really didn't need the ala carte salad. Drink prices, as everywhere, were quite high.

The Lattitude menu attitude doesn't drive customers crazy having to decide from too many options. Simply choose from a concise list of focused and balanced meals and let the chef wow you with a variety of tastes and textures on a single plate. As per usual, we ordered the obligatory Brussels sprout appetizer and were completely satisfied with our traditional starter choice. Lunch at Lattitudes was relaxed and fairly quiet as compared with the energetic atmosphere in the evening.
We sampled six oysters to start. Our lunches were fairly simple, a chicken Caesar and the Lata Burger. Both were very good.

Excellent food and a menu with something for everyone. Even our 10 and 11-yr old kids had a great time and a fantastic meal. Service was excellent. Latitude has a great vibe and all the sophistication of a big-city hot spot, but without the arrogance, long drive, and high prices. I tried one of the specials, a flat iron steak over bacon mashed, with some delightful fried mushrooms. Everything worked perfectly together. My companion had the corned beef special that was also very good, nothing unusual, but good.
For dessert, we sampled a salted caramel cream puff, exceptional.
Service was prompt and very good. We were seated as soon as we arrived, and the pace of the meal was just right. Food was served quickly and was delicious. They were very accommodating about changing risotto for mashed potatoes & vegetables. Can't wait to go back & try to brussel sprouts which we heard a waiter rave about at the end of our meal. The food was outstanding as no one in our party of 4 was disappointed. The cider brined pork chop was delicious and I especially enjoyed the sweet potatoes and Swiss chard that accompanied the meal. The other 3 people all loved their meals as well: the short ribs, the seafood hot pot, and the bacon wrapped cod. They all thoroughly enjoyed the oysters from the raw bar prior to the main meal.
