  • "It is a real tribute to a restaurant when they are on top of their game on a busy Saturday night. This was our first time dining in their outdoor patio. While there are no scenic views, pleasant entertainment with an acoustic guitar, sincere and efficient service, and especially their culinary excellence made it a fine place to share an evening with friends. The wine list has good variety and generally fair prices. From fish to chops, main courses are prepared in interesting and delightful ways."

I ordered the seared diver scallops which I have had there several times over the years and which were always perfect. Unfortunately, this time the scallops were rather small (they compensated with quantity) and a bit overcooked. They certainly weren't bad but not what I had come to expect from Lattitude."

  • "Unique menu choices for this area. Few restaurants in Springfield area have this sort of variety. Chef regularly changes menu but there are a few items consistently there. If you are a real picky eater, you may get stuck with nothing to order. Drink menu is very good. Good portions - not overly stuffed when done so able to have dessert. Too many restaurants give you too much to eat-then the leftovers last for days. Price is in the $20's for dinner but worth the price with the quality and uniqueness of the dishes."

  • "We visited Lattitude for lunch and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I had visited Lattitude many times but this was the first time sitting in the outdoor courtyard. Surprisingly, the traffic noise was at a minimum. We had salads , a steak salad and a grilled scallop salad. Both were good sized portions and very fresh. We started with an app of the Brussels sprouts and they were as good as usual."

The breading in the the crabs was soggy and the whole dish lacked seasoning. When my wife got her short ribs we both agreed it was pot roast. We will be back and hopefully they make some changes m"

  • "The menu has a good selection of interesting entrees as well as appetizers. Dessert was a treat we shared. The waiter however forgot our appetizer and brought our entrees first and we were served our appetizer when I was almost finished with our dinner. Coffee was served in a small cup so I commented on the cup being small and the waiter brought another cup but the joke was on us he charged us for both cups and the appetizer that was served near the end of the meal. Service was a flop. "

  • "This was my first time at Lattitude, and a business meeting on top of that. My table was ready early, I was seated quickly while I waited for the rest of my party to join me. The waitress assigned to us was very attentive, very efficient, and timed drinks and food perfectly. I will be going again for more business lunches, and hopefully on my own time also. We had ordered the fried brussel sprouts on another colleague's recommendation (and they were better than expected!), lobster pita (perfect without being overloaded with unnecessary 'stuff' in it), and a cheeseburger platter (cooked exactly as asked). Wonderful experience!"

  • "We went to Latitude with high expectations. Food and service were good, but not up to expectations. On the plus side the oysters on the half shell were excellent and the calamari was outstanding; fresh calamari lightly battered, a spicy, not overly sweet sauce and the presence of edamame was a nice treat. The fried Brussels sprouts were interesting, and served nicely, but tasted a little dull. For dinner I had the beef tenderloin steak. The steak itself was near perfect, but the mashed potatoes it was nestled in were kind of a tasteless soupy mush. The bread served at the table was also non-distinctive. The creme brulee was sound, but uninspired and dull; after a couple of bites I did not have interest in continuing. "

  • "This isn't the first time we've been to Lattitude but it is the first time we were slightly disappointed. Our first issue was the fact that 6 out of the 12 special beers on tap had run out. Then when I went to order a cocktail with V1 vodka (which is also listed on their menu as a drink special) the V1 was out...the next best thing Grey Goose, had also run out. I ended up drinking a bud light! When we finally sat 20 minutes after our reservation time (we checked in 45 minutes early) many of the items on the menu had run out, including the chicken....they ran out of chicken???!?? I ended up eating a side dish for dinner because I had come fully prepared to have the chicken. They were clearly not prepared for a busy warm Saturday evening."

  • "This is the 4th time my wife have had a special night out at Lattitudes and each time our meals and wait staff have been superb. My wife had the seafood stew and I had thier version of the chicken and waffles. At first my wife thought that the stew may end up being to spicy however, she found it was just right. A good amount of mussles, shrimp and scallops. The chicken I had was moist and was very flavorful. I always wanted to try this dish at other restaraunts but I'm glad I started here, bar is now set. Our waitress, Shelby, was well versed on the plates we ordered and she was very friendly. Though the place was very busy it didn't feel rushed or loud but you could tell everyone was having a good time."
