  • "I admit I'm very particular and have international standards when it comes to fine dining. The duck 2 ways lacked refinement compared to the versions I've had at some of the regions other best restaurants like Back Bay Grill in Portland. Nothing about it really popped for either of us on our first visit to Latitude. The service was really good, the wine list ok, the oysters were great, but they don't get credit for those. All in all, we had a good time but won't go again unless invited by someone else whos' buying!"

  • "We tried two different seafood entrees after beginning with the Flatbread appetizor. Both entress were superb with nice sauces and toppings. The baked scallops were mixed with artichokes, rice, tomatoe, etc. and were delicious while the salmon was also a very tasty choice. Hats off to the chef. The sevice was prompt and professional with a bit of fun added. In our opinion this is the most flavorful food choice in Westside with Bottega Cucina a strong second but lacking the atmosphere of Latitudes."

  • "I've been here several times, usually for lunch, and have always been impressed with the creative menu. I've had a wide variety of appetizers and entrees, and they are all terrific. Most recently I had the beef short ribs, and they were out of this world. Great drink selection and wine list as well, and dessert options to satify every palate. Our server was also excellent -- funny, outgoing, and helpful. The tables are close together, which make intimate conversations challenging, but the decor and ambiance are spot on. Definitely recommend! (In fact, I recently scheduled two business lunches there next week!)"

  • "Another outstanding meal at our favorite restaurant in Western MA. I would recommend the Pan Flashed Point Judith Calamari and/or Fried Brussels Sprouts to start. My wife scallops and my beef tenderloin were both cook to perfection. Great meal with outstanding service. Can't wait to go back."

  • "I have been to this restaurant many times for different occassions and at different times of the year. The menu has not changed at all since the last time we were there. One of the highlights of a meal there is typically the deep fried brussel sprouts. This time they were very greasy and not cooked well at all. Also, I found that the waiter was rushing us through dinner. I must say that if you are going to dine at this restaurant, that you be very specific about what table you would like to sit at. The hostess proceeded to move us right in the middle of the room. All tables except for one were empty (reservation was also for 5:00 pm). We asked for other options and her comment was "they are all specifically requested"."

  • "I had made reservations for my wife and I at 545 Saturday.We ran into our close friends at church at 400 and they wanted to join us.I called and after a brief wait,I was told we would have a table in one of the back rooms.The table had a reservation at 730 which was no problem for us.We were seated promptly,and our waitress Karen came over right away.We ordered our drinks and appetizers,which were all brought out in a timely manor.Our entrees were 2 filets(cooked perfectly) sea bass and a pressed chicken.There were no doggie bags to be found anywhere,except for the one Karen made us from the second batch of warm fresh bread we had ordered.As a former waiter,I was impressed by the team work and great service at Lattitudes.We will be back!"

  • "Consistent, cheerful and creative, no other restaurant in the Springfield area provides this level of culinary accomplishment each and every time. In the past, our only quibble has been the high noise level, a by product of the low ceilings and somewhat cramped quarters. They have made some effort to mitigate that problem. On balance, the quality of the food, savvy service and deft combination of flavors wins the day. The recent addition of complimentary valet parking is another plus, especially on a busy night. A minor problem: there really is no waiting area, and the bar is small and a bit cramped. All is forgiven when you settle in to your table for a fine meal."

We had made reservations a week in advance, so were a little disappointed that we were seated at a table in the bar. It's the noisiest section of the restaurant, and being near the front door there was a consistent cold draft the entire evening. However, the food was spectacular, and our server was amazing."

  • "Lattitudes is a neighborhood gem. The overall experience from having a drink at the bar to eating in the dining room was wonderful. The staff, from the bartender to the waiter excelled at their jobs. We started with fried the brussel sprouts which I highly recommend. My friend and I both had filet on white sweet potato mash, delicious! The ambience is great to meet up with friends or for date night!"

Terrific wine list with several bottles I've not seen since returning from Napa Valley, not too mention amazing prices -- most bottles I saw had less than a 25% markup which is unheard of."

  • "I know for most when you go out on Valentine's Day, it is a romantic twosome, but when you've been married for almost 29 years, and you don't need a special occasion to go out to dinner, it was nice to invite our son out to celebrate the love we have as a family. We were seated in the bar area, which kind of surprised me. I would have preferred sitting in one of the adjacent rooms. The service was very good. Our waiter was a very pleasant character and the food was just spectacular. The brussel sprouts were amazing as always, the shrimp was succulent and had just the right texture and the Caesar salad was original and enjoyable. My son and husband seemed very pleased with their meals, and it was a very nice way to share the evening."
