The view is amazing (especially at sunset), the food is exquisite, the drinks were all delicious and the wait-staff was top notch. Regardless, we had a fantastic experience. It is B E A U T I F U L! You will not find a better view! The water taxi service is great - they could use slightly better markings or signs to direct guests. My husband and I were a little confused and almost missed the boat. Breakfast was wonderful - well rounded menu and the food was very yummy. The mimosas are expensive - $12!! More than my breakfast ($11) which is a bit crazy though they did not say what champagne was used. I will just tell myself it was something $$ to justify that cost! Server was very friendly and it wasn't crowded at all. The outdoor patio was so romantic, the scenery was amazing and our waiter was so friendly. The food was to die for, everything from our appetizer to dessert. Let them know if you want to sit outside or in when booking. The food and service was tops! Very few restaurants have ever wowed me this much- such a private venue and friendly attentive staff. I took my partner for our seven year anniversary and he loved it! It was just too hot for me so I asked to be moved. It was no problem and we were moved immediately. Even though it was very expensive, it was worth it. That allowed enough time to ride the ship over, be seated, and eat through to appetizers and a bit of dinner before it set. Very romantic and very special. The staff are great and attentive and our two steaks were absolutely amazing. Some may complain about the prices, but how often do you get to see the sunset while eating dinner on the beach? As a special occasion, it is clearly worth the price. As for the food, they forgot to bring our appetizer and we had to remind them about it. Food was marginal. The ferry boat to get to Latitudes is very quick and a very nice way to begin your lunch excursion. Every view from our table was of beautiful ocean waters. We started with tuna tartar, it had a spice to it which gave it such good flavor. . Onto our main coarse of lobster roll and grouper tacos. Both dishes set a new level of how these meals are prepared, wow!! We finished with an incredible key lime pie and the entire meal was endless drinks to compliment each dish. The service was impeccable and our entire lunch turned into a 3 hour event. Even after after all that time, I didn't want it to end.
If your ever in Key west, this is a MUST place to eat and see. What a great start then followed by some exquisite cocktails and the most AMAZING mussels dish we have ever had!! We enjoyed salad, seared tuna and Parmesan crusted scallops with key line pie for dessert but those mussels will go down as truly to die for!!
