  • First of all when I showed

First of all when I showed up they had a reservation for 2 instead of 3 ... then the food was horrible ... the pancakes and french toast were cold ... the service was poor and when it was time to pay they charged double from what the price was normally. Instead of paying $15 for the buffet it was $30 and NO WHERE was that advertised that on this day the price would be doubled. Many people were complaining about this and it just showed how unprofessional and poorly this restaurant is ran.

Even though we had the brunch buffet, our server was very attentive and friendly. We had a great experience and would definitely return for brunch again. We liked the idea that you could have breakfast up till 2 PM.

We went for Easter Brunch which was a very busy day but we didn't feel neglected. The food was great and my favorite item from the brunch was eggs benedict with crab but there was so much more to choose from you'll have to see for yourself. It was very reasonably priced for all that was included. The setting was beautiful and the staff was friendly. I will definitely go back again.

When we arrived there was absolutley no parking. I dropped off my family and drove around for another 15 minutes until I found a space. They didn't have our reservation, but we had a "nice" table with a view. Soon after the table next to us was occupied and it was very tight. The women sitting next to us kept banging my wife's chair. The omlettes were good, however there wasn't much else to rave about. Service was terrible and had to continually wave down our waitress. Mamossa's were small and $7.00 each I would have rather bought a Subway sandwich and sat on the beach with a bottle of beer.....would have saved over $100.00

Had memorable Valentine's dinner from special four-course holiday menu. Service excellent and everything from appetizers to desserts top notch. The chef made several visits to the dining room to ensure everyone was well taken care of.

  • Our reservation was for 9:00
    OpenTable Diner Since 2010
    Dined on 2/14/2010
Our reservation was for 9:00 a.m. with a request for an inside table because it was a very cold day. There was a line to get inside and we were not seated until almost 9:30. We overlooked the delay in seating because it was Valentine's day, the hotel was busy, the maitre de was polite and friendly and there were comfortable chairs in the lobby where we were able to people watch while we waited to be called. Once seated, we immediately were brought fresh, delicious orange juice and a carafe of hot coffee. Buffet included pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs benedict, bagels, lox and cream cheese, made to order omlets, fried potatoes, fresh fruit and cereal. Great view/great service/not gourmet food but very good value buffet.

  • Although it was New Year's
    OpenTable Diner Since 2012
    Dined on 12/31/2009
Although it was New Year's Eve, we arrived early, found seating at the bar and were seated 15 minutes ahead of our reservation. The service started a little slow, but was overshadowed by the great food! Once the starters were served, each course kept coming on schedule and above all else was delicious, well presented and cooked to perfection. Setting on the beach with the Blue Moon was very special on New Year's Eve. Would recommend this place to everyone!

  • We went to this restaurant
    mwb146

We went to this restaurant because of Top Chef and the executive Chef Ron Duprat having been in season 6 of the show. With that in mind, our expectations were very high. The food was not very good, steak was very thin, wrong cut, and overcooked. Fish was too buttery and side dishes had no imagination. This is what I would respect from a "Hotel lobby restaurant" but our expectations were higher so we were disappointed. There was nothing about this place that was culinarily impressive and we were disappointed. However, as a "Hotel lobby restaurant" it was ok. I would recommend this restaurant to travelers but not to dinners looking for something unique.

    Dined on 10/27/2009
Although the food selection for vegetarians was not all that great, they did have a few choices. The main reason to go was for a relaxing lunch to people watch along the beach. THAT is one of two true reasons to go, during the day there are all sorts of people rollerblading, walking, biking along the boardwalk. The other reason is for delicious gazpacho and other fantasic foods while enjoying the food. The only slight downfall i could see to this restaurant is that the music by the bar is a little loud and jarring, but as long as you sit past the covered area this isn't a problem.

We have eaten at Latitudes on numerous occasions and find it to one of our favorite spots, but this last time we were disappointed. The service was just, so so and in fact we had to request drink refills and additional table set ups that took forever to come. NOT THE STANDARD FROM PAST EXPERIENCES. Also we ordred 4 burgers, and none of them were cooked as requested. We did not send them back because we could not find the waiter. Well I guess once and awhile every resturant has an off night.

  • Not great. Service was inconsistent
    OpenTable Diner Since 2007VIP
    Dined on 9/30/2009
Not great. Service was inconsistent at best. Food was edible but not great, sloppy presentation and all seamed like an attempt to be glamorous bar food (which when the hostess brought the second menu…it turned out to be a very similar menu as the bar). Restaurant was empty yet it still took 10 minutes to get a drink order. Staff member kept spilling water when filling the glass. The true highlight and best part was the bread. Overall the experience was mediocre. For the effort and cost to park, this is not a place I would be quick to revisit.

Located right at the beach, is the most spectacular place I have dine. Service is excellent, from the valet parking attendants to the managers. The place is truly a gem, hope it will never change. Recommend going for brunch, my girlfriend and I only spend $30 plus tip for very good food and services, it beats going to IHOP or Denny's anytime for sure.

  • We took our 99 yr old friend
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 3/30/2009
We took our 99 yr old friend for her 99th birthday. We had a note in the reservation as such and that we wanted it to be special with a desert or something with candles. We chose this restaurant for the outdoor dining experience and the water views. She was cold so we sat inside. There was no music on in the dining room, no ambiance. Our waiter did not know about the birthday. He got slammed outside and wasn't able to really get to our table. He was apologetic. We waited over 45 minutes for our food and then it was too late for our cake so we had to leave. It was expensive and disappointing especially for such an occasion.

We went for Thanksgiving dinner. The dinner was perfect. Food was excellent. Scene was beautiful, we were on the "boardwalk" overlooking the ocean as the sunset. Price was good, especially considering it was Thanksgiving. We both had a wonderful butternu squash soup, and a traditional slow roasted turkey dinner. So happy we chose this restaurant!

This was my second time at Latitudes and it was as great as the first time. This restaurant has an excellent location and ambiance. It nestled right on the beach, adjacent to the Hollywood beach boardwalk to be exact. The food was great, extensive wine list, and moderate to reasonable prices. This spot may become a staple in my dining ventures.
