Fine food and serviceMy friend and I had dinner recently at Latitude 41 and had a wonderful experience. The food was more than we could have hoped for. Everything was prepared and presented very well. The staff was very attentive, but not overly anxious or hovering. We could not believe what a great dinner experience we had. Even though we live more than 150 miles away we will be back for dinner.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMNot Just Another Hotel RestaurantMy wife and I chose Latitude 41 because it was very close to the Ohio Theatre and we were on a tight schedule to see a show there. The food was surprisingly interesting and well-prepared. The service was excellent. And the prices were quite reasonable. This is not just another hotel restaurant. We'll dine at Latitude 41 again when we go to events downtown.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMDining experience was exceptionalWould have given outstanding for food but think tuna was substituted for my daughter's salmon (which we overheard a waiter tell another customer that they had run out of salmon). Server Chris was outstanding - very knowledgeable and made excellent suggestions which all proved true.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMAMAZINGAMAZING! We had the 4 course chef's choice with wine pairings. We've been to all of the "upper scale" restaurants in Columbus and this is by far our favorite.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMnice before theaterwhile part of the hotel and convenient, it was still very good. the cocktails were extra delicious before dinner. Service was good and prompt.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMPleasant surprise on a short noticeI made the reservation for 7 people on the Thursday before Mothers' Day to have brunch. In many other buffets, it is typically loud and the service is nothing to comment on. Although busy, it was well staffed and the buffet was pretty well stocked. The kid's pancake making station was a hit with my two children (both under 5). Would absolutely return for a special occasion.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful Food and ExperienceMy wife and I ate at the restaurant and tried the Chef's Choice 4 course dinner and was extremely impressed with the explanations of each course and the wine selections also for each course. We had a wonderful dining experience and would recommend for anyone who is looking for an upscale menu with a casual atmosphere.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food; good locationMy wife enjoyed dinner in their outdoor area which was quite enjoyable. The staff is very attentive and the food was good.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMSuperb experienceMy wife and I dined at Latitude 41 before a CSO concert, and ordered the Tasting Menu with wine pairing. It was fabulous! Even though it was a relatively busy Saturday evening, the chef came to our table with each course and explained what he chose and why, and a bit of how he made it. They timed everything just perfectly to give us plenty of time to make our show.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMExtremely impressed and theExtremely impressed and the entire experience was wonderful!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMLove the ambiance and service.Love the ambiance and service. Menu selection a bit limited especially for vegetarians.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic food and drink.Fantastic food and drink. Loved the jalapeno margarita.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was great and so wasFood was great and so was service. Kitchen seemed a little slow for the amount of people in restaurant. Lunch took over an hour for a group of 7.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMSuper evening and serviceFood was outastanding as was the service and intelligence of our server. Altogether a delightful evening.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMLatitude 41 Always a HitThis is the four time I've eaten at Latitude 41 and every single time has been incredible. I love that the restaurant focuses on sourcing local ingredients for their dishes. We were the only party in the restaurant (Saturday before Easter) and our server was amazing. I wish I could remember his name! His knowledge of the menu was very impressive and he described the dishes so well.
We had a friends 40th birthday dinner here and everyone was impressed with how good the food was.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic food, random wine pairingOnly reason going from 5 to 4 stars was the wine pairing seemed very random. We highly recommend visiting. Great local food with a menu that rotates based on availability and keeping things interesting.
We had the tasting menu. We were incredibly impressed with the food. The wine pairing left much to be desired however. 3 chardonnays to start, one paired with a very earthy mushroom risotto. Then a hearty merlot with a shrimp and grits course. It seemed way more random than thought out. The wine was not bad though.3/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
