Latitude 41Fine food and serviceMy friend and I had dinner recently at Latitude 41 and had a wonderful experience. The food was more than we could have hoped for. Everything was prepared and presented very well. The staff was very attentive, but not overly anxious or hovering. We could not believe what a great dinner experience we had. Even though we live more than 150 miles away we will be back for dinner.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMNot Just Another Hotel RestaurantMy wife and I chose Latitude 41 because it was very close to the Ohio Theatre and we were on a tight schedule to see a show there. The food was surprisingly interesting and well-prepared. The service was excellent. And the prices were quite reasonable. This is not just another hotel restaurant. In many other buffets, it is typically loud and the service is nothing to comment on. Although busy, it was well staffed and the buffet was pretty well stocked. I love that the restaurant focuses on sourcing local ingredients for their dishes. We were the only party in the restaurant (Saturday before Easter) and our server was amazing. I wish I could remember his name! His knowledge of the menu was very impressive and he described the dishes so well.

We highly recommend visiting. Great local food with a menu that rotates based on availability and keeping things interesting.
We had the tasting menu. We were incredibly impressed with the food. The wine pairing left much to be desired however. 3 chardonnays to start, one paired with a very earthy mushroom risotto. Then a hearty merlot with a shrimp and grits course. It seemed way more random than thought out. The wine was not bad though.3/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
