Diner Reviews
  • "Celebrating life or a special occasion? This is a very nice yet casual place to dine and have a few fresh cocktails or wine. Great appetizers, food and service. One of my favorite spots in Laguna :)"

  • "Las Brisas always provides excellent food and service."

  • "We have been coming to Las Brisas for 30 years! We always like to take out of town company here because of the view. The weekday morning buffet allows us to come in the summer before everything in Laguna Beach is crowded. It is still easy to get a parking place. The omlettes are made to order and always good. There is a nice selection of breakfast items. The staff is friendly and courteous."

  • "We spent our last evening of our California vacation at Las Brisas and the dinng experience was excellent. The views of Laguna Beach at sunset and after were like none we have seen before. Our Waiter was the best waiter we have ever had at a retaurant. His recommendations were top notch and his knowledge of the menu items was impressive. It was a dinng experience that everyone in our family will never forget."

  • "Dined at Las Brisas while on vacation in the Laguna Beach area. The views are fantastic. We had a window seat but you would have had a view even if not right at the window. There were some outdoor tables as well. Our waiter was nice and very informative about the menu. My husband had the snapper which was very good and I had a skewer of shrimp, lobster and swordfish. The guacamole was very good as our appetizer. The margaritas were good but not strong. Definitely a place to visit if you like seafood, Mexican style."

  • "Terribly disappointed in the service the food and the overall package received for the price we paid. I waited years to go here and my wife really wanted to go as well. The food is way better at El Torito and even Del Taco on a good day. I will never go back and I will steer all that ask away. I don't have a problem in the world spending money on good food and service, Javier's at the Spectrum puts this place to shame."
    Dined on 7/26/2014
  • "Of course, you go for the views but the food is good too. The tempura jalapeños stuffed with ahi tuna and cream cheese appetizer is fantastic. Margaritas made with fresh lime juice is also somehing you should try here."
    Dined on 7/26/2014
  • "The ambience was incredible and so was the service but the quality of the food and taste was mediocre for what you pay! If you just want to go to a restaurant with sweeping views of the ocean this is the place to go but very pricey for what you get!"
    Dined on 7/26/2014
  • "Fantastic experience. We had reservations and were a half hour late due to traffic. The receptionists were beyond accommodating and with a friendly attitude. Waiters were full of explanations and more than helpful."
    Dined on 7/26/2014
  • "Awesome view of the coastline if you sit on the patio. Really good buffet breakfast on Saturday mornings!"

  • "We decided to visit Las Brisas only at the last minute so was concerned about getting a booking. But website allowed an 8:00 and we got given a great table overlooking the ocean. Our server Fernando was discrete but attentive and food was great. An excellent experience. Thanks!"

  • "Great restaurant, second time we've been there and we'll come again. However, resented having to pay to park in their own lot."
    Dined on 7/24/2014
  • "Great spot with easy access to pageant of masters, sawdust festival & downtown laguna beach. A must dining experience for all tourists"
    Dined on 7/24/2014
  • "Brunch is the best value for the money M-F. Lunch was good but priced as you would want to pay for dinner. Parking difficult because of beach setting, but valet parking is available. We were given a lovely anniversary desert."
    Dined on 7/24/2014
  • "Food was outstanding, but valet parking experience was not. Attendant was ride when we arrived and when we left he parked the car a long ways from where I was standing on my cane with my knees and feet burning with pain. When I told him it was too far to walk, he shrugged his shoulders. Not very pleasant. I will return, but hope not to repeat that experience and pay for it."

  • "BEST guacamole ever! Fresh, great presentation. Seafood was excellent, fresh, flavorful. View of the ocean spectacular.Good service. Will def go again."

  • "This has been our go to spot for many years. Recently have seen the food, especially the Sunday brunch, quality go down. It almost feels like hotel banquet assembly line on Sundays, other days are still good. The place is beginning to show a lot of wear and tear, but then again who cares. The ambience, the view, the margaritas are the best."

  • "My friend was visiting from Tucson and we wanted her to experience eating by the ocean. Las Brisas was PERFECT. Our wait staff was the best ever ... Oscar was excellent!!!"
    Dined on 7/20/2014
  • "Overall, the dining was pleasant. Would recommend this place because of the scenary. Servers were attentive and polite. The only comment to make is please change the greeters. There were 4 of them when we walked in, not one had a smile nor a warm welcome. Very surprised at this!"

  • "Come to the Pageant annually, and brunch at Las Brisas is a must."
    Dined on 7/20/2014
  • "We arrived 30 minutes late (bad traffic) for our reservation, but the wait staff seated us quickly at a window table... wow what a view:) The brunch selection is pretty standard, not great but good. However, the cheese in the made to order omelets was floury, almost sandy, making the omelets less than ideal... and 5 of the 7 adults at our table did not eat more than 1/4 of their omelets :( Other food was OK. Overall good value for money.. The view over the ocean and Laguna Beach is excellent and that's why I keep coming back!"

  • "We visit Las Brisas whenever we are visiting the area and it never disappoints. The food is fresh, exceptionally well prepared, service attentive, and the ambiance cannot be matched."

  • "Went for 70th birthday dinner. Had a duo of new young waiters who just relocated to SoCal. They were superb. We had our favorite calamari app, which is very lightly breaded & has a delicate sauce for dipping. We split the Frutas Del Mar - prawns, scallops, fish, & lobster over rice with a saffron sauce & fresh green beans - just yummy. Had the Main Beach Margarita on the rocks - very, very good. Can't resist the ab-fab Mixed Berry Tostada - edible slivered almond shell, ice cream, & fresh berries... ay, carumba! They presented a complimentary Mexican Coconut Flan as well - we devoured everything!"

  • "Las Brisas came highly recommended but it fell short of our excepations. Everything about our experience was just "ok" left us wondering why it's such a local favorite. There are so many restaurants in Laguna my suggestion would be to try another local favorite before Las Brisas."
    Dined on 7/15/2014
  • "Las Brisas has an iconic view of the Southern California coastline and it is a must see when dining in Laguna Beach."
    Dined on 7/14/2014
  • "If you want to pick one restaurant in Laguna Beach with a great view, very good food and an attentive wait staff - this is it. I eat here with some regularity. This is the first time for brunch and it was very good. No food line to deal with - they bring it to you. Wonderful!"

  • "Everything was wonderful except for the party of girls who kept screaming as they toasted each other."

  • "When we have guests come into town Las Brisas is one of our must go to spots as the food, view, service is always great! We had a party of 8 and we have been very lucky to get the dining room in the back with Georgio as our Server - he is very professional, knowledgeable, and even remembered us from a previous visit. We were seated exactly on time and never rushed once. Our guests were from Norway and blown away by the friendly staff and fabulous food. Absolutely wonderful evening!"

  • "We reserved for a Party of 8 on a Saturday night. What a great time! It was a night of friends getting together after not seeing each other for a while. Las Brisas made our night exceptional sweet. We were able to enjoy great conversation along with great service and great food. We weren't rushed and even given some hints of things to do after dinner. Las Brisas is definitely a great place to be. Love it and we will be back real soon!"

  • "We brought guests here for a special occasion. I have dietary restrictions and they accommodated all my needs well. The food for everyone was excellently prepared and beautifully presented. Our window table had stunning views. Service was perfect. A wonderful dining experience for us and our guests. We have been here many times and this was the best experience ever. Window seats can only be requested upon arrival. Our 2:00 reservation gave us a quiet, elegant experience."

  • "We both thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Las Brisas. Our waiter was charming and efficient. The drinks were good, the dinners superb and the dessert fabulous. And, of course, with the sun setting over the Pacific Ocean, the setting was wonderous."

  • "On a bluff overlooking Laguna Beach, this restaurant is a must-do Southern California experience. At my cousin's recommendation, we decided to dine here after attending the Sawdust Festival. The view is mesmerizing, but only in the daytime. The restaurant is quite large, and you can dine either inside or on the patio. The food was good, if not exactly the best, but the view and service made up for any shortcomings. After dinner, we strolled out to the bluff for the sunset and then down to the beach and a swing around downtown Laguna. It made for a perfect evening."
